Ok so i just checked on my only fem that i am growing right now, using 1/2 strength GH bloom nutes and 1 tsp of blackstrap molasses, and when i looked at the top of the water its has this scummy, clearish snotty crap floating around. some of the root mass below the water level also has this stuff in it.

could this just be the by product of using molasses? i have never used it before, but have been feeding with molasses for the past three weeks and not seen this before. I just changed the water not two days ago and i am stumped.

the roots are not exposed to any light at all so i am guessing its not root rot, and i am not using any other supplements right now either.

Any guesses?

that happened to me when my pump was not set to flow 24/7. It got too hot and I think it is pyrethum? or however you spell it.

i think pyrethrims come from a plant but not the weed plant, some other plant and its used as a pesticide.
