Default worried about the bottom leaves of plant

first time grower here, the plants have grown a lot from when i first got them. Today i cut the top edge of the plastic pots i had because soil has settled and the leaves at the bottom of the plant don't look like there doing so well. I have been reading a lot about pruning and am not sure if I should be doing that to my plants any advice would be great

Your plants are OK.

But they will need more light then 1 CFL.
