Default Multiple Problems: leaves curling upwards & downwards as well as rust colored spots
Man...Im having Major problems right now...kinda complicated word problem too...growing 3 different strains( sour D, purple kush, GDP) with two different ages..the sour d and gdp are approximately 3 months old while the purple kush is about a month old. I vegged the first two straings for two months while correcting a yellowing problem. They all have been flowering for approximately 2 weeks...about a week ago i noticed that the young purps as well as the gdp had leaves curling downwards...so i flushed using six gallons of water and superthrive, then i watered with strictly water for a week..after a week i noticed no significant improvement in the leaves and they were starting to yellow. To stop the yellowing i put them on a 50% diluted solution. Well now the leaves are still curled downward, mainly on the gdp and purp kush with a lot of yellowing. i've also noticed that the sour d's which were doing pretty well now have a significant amount of leaves curling down and also up!!!! and to make things worse ive noticed small orangish spots (looks like the leaves have rust!!) on the sour d's. My growing medium is soil, im using the cuttiing edge solutions fertilizer mix. i dont have any pics today but will have them tommorrow. i would really appreciate any informative help because right now i feel like im shooting in the dark....medium:soil

other than leeching how do u suggest to lower the soil ph? Also this should clear up the leaf curling, rust spots, or both?

my suggestion is to flush your plants with ph'd water at least twice as much water as you have soil. then when they stop draining water again with ph'd water with 1/2 strenght nutes. then don't water again untill the soil almost dry. it should let the plant pick up a bit. the brown spots won't go away but it should stop and the leaf curling down should flatten back out. and for the ones curling up, might be a mag def cause of the ph being off or it could be heat stress. keep the temps below 80.

they probably won't uncurl completley till at least a week of good ph and nute conditions. just get the soil to a good ph and nutes and keep it there and don't over water.
