Man...Im having Major problems right now...kinda complicated word problem too...growing 3 different strains( sour D, purple kush, GDP) with two different ages..the sour d and gdp are approximately 3 months old while the purple kush is about a month old. I vegged the first two straings for two months while correcting a yellowing problem. They all have been flowering for approximately 2 weeks...about a week ago i noticed that the young purps as well as the gdp had leaves curling downwards...so i flushed using six gallons of water and superthrive, then i watered with strictly water for a week..after a week i noticed no significant improvement in the leaves and they were starting to yellow. To stop the yellowing i put them on a 50% diluted solution. Well now the leaves are still curled downward, mainly on the gdp and purp kush with a lot of yellowing. i've also noticed that the sour d's which were doing pretty well now have a significant amount of leaves curling down and also up!!!! and to make things worse ive noticed small orangish spots (looks like the leaves have rust!!) on the sour d's. My growing medium is soil, im using the cuttiing edge solutions fertilizer mix. i dont have any pics today but will have them tommorrow. i would really appreciate any informative help because right now i feel like im shooting in the dark....

Check your ph of your soil & water.Had that problem.My h2o was "hard".Made my soil alkaline.

ph is at 7, 3 gallon pots, i was adding fertilizer everytime i watered(aprox every other day) ( i actually spoke with a cutting edge rep who advised to use their product every watering), and yes for the past week i've been watering them with plain water everyday.....

Too many nutes,You dont need to nute evey watering & you are watering them too much I think.What kind of lights???How far from the canopy???Ventilation???

hey Luke..just took a look at the similar thread created by s.dog...man i think i could be having the same problems cuz the rust colored spots are unique....i use tap water but the water is at aprox 6.4 ph AFTER i add the fert and if not i ph down...

ive had the same problem to the tee on 2 big bud clones i have out of 13 plants i have 2 that show dark green crispy leaves that curl down on tips and up on the edges and brown almost water spots burns in the center of only the fan leaves, i trimmed the really bad ones and the spots still spread. my ph is perfect only thing i thought i might have been was over feeding so i stopped three weeks later i still have same problem so i decided to just flower these two.
people tell me its nntrient lock but i have flushed twice with clearex and still same thing.may not help ya but at least you know others got same things going. good luck
