Iam using 3 400watters, 2 mh, and 1 hps, my problem is I have some plants mainly under mh and I moved them mainly under the hps, but since then they havent grown very much if any, they are 5 weeks flowering and in foxfarm,, not the healthiest plants in the world but not too bad either,, does the different light spectrum f6ck with them like this (stunt), has anyone else changed from mh to hps in the middle of flower???????

5 weeks in to flowerin the growth does slow. What they will do now is fill out. They may get a little taller but not much. They grow like crazy at first 6 to 12 inches (stretch period) Then the remaining time flowerin the plant fattens up.

I do understand that, but, has anyone ever changed from mh to hps in the middle of flwer, and if so were there any adverse affects.. Most my other plants seemed to still be growin as they fattened up and I dont remember any of them stalling like this during flwer, I havent even seen any fattening happening, and I know you cant always see it but its been a week......

Yup I use 2 400 watt hps light and 1 mh light in some grows and currnt have a grow I use 1 1000 watt hps and 1 1000 watt mh light. In that setup I run the hps light 4 hours then turn it off run the mh for 4 hours then turn it off and then hps flips back on for the last 4 hours.Your in flower so you want more of the red hps light spectrum.he first 3-4 weeks you get super fast growth and stretch then it slows down and the plant starts to fill in and bud sites form then wekk 7ish for soil the buds get a jump and get fuller and show crystalls. The mh blue helps stop the stretch and adds an extra grwth boost but the red hps light makes the plant bud better as its a more usable spectrum since you cut off the nitrogen nutes and have been giving it more phos and potassium
