your ph is probably off, which is why its not solving itself. If i were you i would chop off those roots as they are dead, and as you can see the plant is wilting, which means its not using its roots anymore. So the dead roots are going to take oxygen from the water as they continue to rot, making the new roots which will soon be dropping from your cup die. Get a ph meter and maintain between 5.5 and 6.0 You want to keep your ppms real low like youve been doing, and raise your water level to the bottom of the cup while the roots are reestablished. Basically all root problems come down to PH, PPM, water temps, and dying material in the res, or light is getting into your res, creating algae, which is stealing your o2. if your buckets are slimy on the inside this is a problem. |
