im pretty patient when it comes to problems with my plants, but this one is bugging me. ive read through a lot of sites which diagnose plant problems, but theres a lot of gray area, and half of them are inaccurate.

heres my setup: 5 plants, week 1 of flowering, 400 w MH (until i get my replacement HPS sent!!!) i water/feed them about once a week with a gallon of water mixed with ferti-lone fish emulsion, miracle grow bloom booster, and some SUPERthrive.

heres the symptoms with some pics:
this occurs only on one plant. on the 4th node down (some of the largest fan leaves) are showing signs of bronzing in between the veins (which are green). they are also curling up lengthwise, resembling a taco shell. heres some pics.









this plant is a female, and shes only one week into flowering. has anyone seen this before? does anyone know how i can cure her? your help is appreciated.

I have the same issue going on right now with my plants. I'm not sure exactly whats going on with them. I think it is a micronutrient issue. I use a hydro setup so just had to pay closer attention to where my ph was and they are starting to get better. I would make sure your ph is ok to make sure that the micro nutes aren't getting locked out.

i purchased a 4-vial ph/nute tester kit back when i started my grow. i think its time to use it. be back with results momentarily. any other suggestions are appreciated.

god i wish plants had mouths and talked. that way they could tell me what they needed. im sick of reading leafs and stems and shit.
the ph tested somewhere between 6.5-7.0 definately not above 7. im doing the 3 other nute tests, which probably wont help at all because the tests are PIECES OF SHIT! when do i get to smoke them? lol

I'm not sure how it works in soil... but I keep my hydro res between 5.2 and 5.8 in order to keep all the nutes available. do you ph the water before feeding?

if your ph is between 6.5 and 7.0 you are fine in soil. It looks like a mg deficiency try foliar feeding with some epsom salts if you see good results then that is your problem

thanks kaosowner. out of all the deficiencies ive looked through, my guess was Mg. ill mix up some salts and spray her. we'll see if she shows any improvement.

heat stress maybe? besides micro-nutrient problem

looks like iron in the leaves....an iron deffiency, check what your using for nutes and make sure it dont have alot of iron in it...it will kill the leaves, make them dry and crunchy also...I would try and flush the soil and try some 1/2 strength of what your using...everyone else is right by saying a nutrient problem, but iron is normally the one...or zinc...

This is only organic....

Ive had a zinc deficency before and the top leaves were curved radially and tips were curled like a rosette, for that i added some galvanized screws to my soil and poof prob gone. I also put some in my water bottle and did some foliar feeding. The bronzing inbetween the veins that makes me say mg though.
