Side View Day 1.jpgGeneral Setup.jpg
So the first picture is day 2 of my seed, I think I under watered it at first and it got a little crisp, then I over watered it and its at where it is right now....I have some miracle grow stuff (FoxFarm-GrowBig) that I've been mixing with the water....the lights are on from 8pm-2pm 18 hours, 6 hours off...the fan is running right next to it and also some Cudi jamming off a phone to keep the little guy some company...the bulb is a 100w....I lightened my watering this past day and the stem is a brownish color right now but the top is a healthy looking green and the top of the plant is just a tad crisp...any advice or should i trash this project and start anew?
Any advice from more experienced growers would be greatly appreciated, this is not just a way for me to get some green, I am very interested in plants being a biology major and I would love to learn more about horticulture...thanks for the replies

Just seen ur post but is time to go home. Ill reply if no1 beats me to it!
Why nutrients on a seedling that young? Flush with water and water only for a couple of weeks.
Aw did I hurt your little ass feelings, sweetheart?
grab the stalk gently and gently pull off that little "cap" thats over the 2 starter leaves. I think you might be OK you just gotta get that little cap off. Just make sure you're gentle and as hotrod said NO NUTES FOR SMALL BABIES! you wanna wait a good 3-4 weeks before you start feeding your little guys or ull murder dem sons a bitchesIn all seriousness try to get that lil cap off and you might be ok.
Hey! thanks for the advice on the little cap, got 2 leaves now....and I bought a nutrient kit that you start from week 1 until the budding stage and I have other stuff for that as well....I am only supposed to mix 2 tsp with a gallon of water and I feed it that way...but if the recommendation is just water then I thank you!....I watched a 10 video thing on youtube on how to hydroponic grow, but I don't really have the room so I'm riggin this thing with a gallon jug that I stuffed with rock wool....and I greatly appreciate the fast response, thanks everyone!
Feeding Cycle.jpg2 Leaves.jpgGrowing cycle paper, I'm just going off what its telling me....could be a buncha bs, but hey! took the cap off and got my 2 leaves =] 2 more seeds germinating as well...I wish I knew what kind of seeds they were, just some good ole midwest bags that were crappy hence the seeds in them
Ive had a couple seedlings keep the whole seed on top and not "kick it off" so to speak and needed to remove the whole shell. If you notice this happening where its not kickin it off itself in 24hrs just do what I told you to do(and u did and it worked YEAAAAH!!) and gently pull off the shell. If you wait too long it will eventually die and you could have easily saved it with a little human intervention. Dont be surprised if that little cap stays on a few others. I usually have a handfull keep the lil cap on.
Dont go off the chart mate they use very high dosage levels, I'd do as they said above, only feed water for first 2 weeks then start at maybe 1/4 strength of what that table says, and see how you go. Tbh your plants will probably never need much more than half strength throughout the entire grow...just see how they look and go from there.
When I'm not in the grow room, I breed Unicorns.
