Water ph high 7.8-8 and slow growth small new growth

HELP I have beenusing tap water, and i know now that the ph is 7.8ph to 8ph
I am getting very slow and small new growth. I bought a cheap meter dial no batteries. and was adjusting my ph down with vineger and added a fair amount and didn't see any change acording to the meter. So i used this water on my plant.
Last night i bought a test kit the color match to a chart kind. It said my water was above 7.6ph I added a little vineger and the ph changed to about 6ph so I know the other water i adjusted was a way low ph.
So I watered with the 6ph water last night.
The question is do I need to flush or will just watering with the right ph water fix my problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated! And thanks in advance!

pots to small and ph is too high at 8

Yes thats what I thought. I forgot I have repotted it sence i took those pics
Do you think just start using ph corrected water will correct this problem? Or should I flush the pot?

use correct ph and test the water run off from the pot and see what ph it comes out at and then adjust or flush if its real high

in soil aim for a ph of 6-6.5 and try putting it in bigger pot. there could be another factors why there growin slow like temp. what are your temps during the day and at night.???

I will have to try and cheack the ph of run off water. I'm still working at how much vinegar or baking soda to add to adjust my ph. The plant in pics is looking worse, I think from my ph going up and down!
I had 3 seeds sprout this weekend so I hope I get this ph straightened out.'

Thanks Dr I have repotted ti but I think I'll re pot it again as I didn't have any perlight to add to my soil last time.
My temps have been on the low side with the cold wheather. But ar egetting better. 70-74 day night 65-69. I'm cosidering adding a incandesent just to get my temps up a little. I'll add it off to the side so not to burn my plant.

If you haven't flushed, DO IT! I screwed the ph up on my grow and almost lost all the plants. Not trying to hijack your thread but here's the link to my thread "way to much ph up" so you can see what happened to mine and what happened when i transplanted and flushed. I'm about to flower 2 of them today. They can snap back if you can get your ph under control. Way to much ph up Hope this helps and gives you hope..... Good luck and good grow....

Yes My ph is under control now I think! Last ight I was seeing new growth and It looked like it grew a fair amount, so it's looking like the ph was my problem! I have two sprouts 4 days old and they are looking good, so I think I have my problem liked I hope! I will try and get some pics tomorrow
