    Default Wilting and droppie plant

I will try to post pic tomorrow. Had a healthy female outdoor plant. Water them every day I have them in a 5 gal bucket with holes in the bottom. Watered her yesterday and checked on her this evening and she was wilting still as green as ever but looked bad. Could she be over watered? Anything I can do to save her???? Help please!!

alright buddy , first things first. marijuana is just a weed , so it strives in starvation . Don't water her that much . Water her only when the plant starts asking for it , ( the stems will not be able to hold up the fan leaves etc. ) water it only a little , don't water it religiously make the plant have different watering periods, so it doesn't 'expect' and know when it will be watered. overall its just best to water it once a week, sometimes not even that.. Ive went 2 weeks one time . haha.

& again , marijuana strives in starvation.

ALSO YOUR PROBLEM IS BECAUSE YOU WATER IT EVERYDAY. YOUR PLANT IS NOT A REGULAR PLANT ITS A WEED.

    hope this helped.

I hope you have a decent sized pot , make sure you don't water it as much, other then that.

    Happy Growing .

Try lifting pot a lil that helps to see how much water is still in there. If its really light then water some but don't flood her. You will notice a pattern on how it drinks. And water in mornings in case you don't. less is more. You will know when you see a underwatered plant its not pretty looking but usually bounces rite back few hours later.

Ok, I am calling BS on this one. Any plant, be it a weed, fern, cactus, whatever needs water to survive. Its a basic principle to life. If I went more than 2 days without watering, my plants would start to look terrible and die. I grow in 10 gallon smart pots, and with the weather where I am (95+) they need water everyday and my plants . I go out every afternoon and see at least one or two of my girls starting to droop and look sad. I water or feed them and within 5 minutes, their standing nice and tall reaching for the sun. Depriving/starving them of water is only going to stress them IMO. Which could lead to a number of other problems. Why stress your plant if you can help it?? Show your plant some love and it will return the favor, that's my opinion. Sky, if that routine works for you, then good. Everybody does it a little different, I just think its nonsense to purposely starve/deprive your plant(s).

once a week or not for two weeks might be a stretch but he is correct with making them strive to use up everything they have. Your situation is definitely the opposite of the spectrum with temps in the 90's. Im gonna go out on a limb here and say ur plant isnt using 5 gallons or whatever you feed them in one day, most is evaporated due to the high heat. I wouldnt ever "deprive" my ladies of water but over watering is definitely a problem with many first time growers. Wish I could get a good pic of my seedlings now but on the surface you would think they need water cause the dirt is dry looking but if you stick your finger down an inch or two youll feel the soil is still damp... aka not watering until tomorrow.

that thing is dead. and it looks like over fertilizer issue since all growth was hurt in the pic. over watering would cause a slow death with old lower leaves yellowing/dieing, and new growth still continuing(feeding on old growth).

I agree, you CAN overwater, I did it my first grow. All Im saying is do what your plant says, you can tell just but looking at your plant if its thirsty or not. My deal is, I would rather not stress out my plant by "starvation". If it works for you, awesome. And yes, I totally agree with you, I highly doubt my plants are using up all the water I give it. With the high heat comes a lot of evaporation. Im watering once a day, and my plants are loving it.
