Hi my friend has a few plants in coco. They seem to be suffering from nute burn and need to be flushed. They are also due to be repotted. Would it be okay to do these both at the same time?? Thanks

If the roots are big and well established I would suggest using a large tub or container and soak/bathe the entire root structure in clean water before transplanting.

I have never heard of this before. Have you done this? What are the benefits of that over a flush?

    No!!!

When you transplant the new medium should be wetter
so that the roots grow in search of moisture. If you don't then you'll probably get wet feet and root rot.

I only ever transplant when the pots have lightened up.
I would flush excess dissolved solids/nutes before the new transplant but let it dry first.

Hi thanks lahadaextranjera. yes we will flush when the lights come on. And leave a little while before the repott, maybe 3 - 7 days depending on recovery and when the pot moisture level is back to normal. Still unsure about this bathing method. Cant find too much about it only in hydroponics. So due to lack of information we have decided to refrain from using this method on this occasion.

If i am doing something wrong please let me know!!!!!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE

Im so scared about putting 3x water through these pots, lol.

    Thanks again guys
