    Question re-veg, or foxtailing? outdoors!

    hello RIU,

the mother plant for my first grow,
has had a couple issues, but is diligently powering through.
a couple weeks back she started to go calcium and boron defic,
rotting the tops of two buds, causing them to just pull and snap off.
a week before the two buds decayed, the new growth leaves were turning purpleish and drying up.
been hitting it with cal mag and hard-water ph'ed around 7, or perhaps even 7.5.
the drainage water that comes out of the bottom, ph's to a yellowish color, which doesnt even show up on my indicator(6.2-7.2)(light orange to deep red.)
so my conclusion was that the soil is very acidic, so the highly alkiline water that im giving her, could only be helping my problem.. am i wrong?
the deficiency problems seem to be somewhat at bay(not getting AS progressively worse as it was), though its clear the whole plant is going deficient due to age,
so i just figured i would post and get your opinions.

    now to the real problem.

    her strain is Java OG Kush, and Indica-based hybrid;
and she is at about week 8 of flowering.

up until her recent cacium and boron troubles,
all of her nugs were getting super frosty, hairy, and getting thicker.
however now, she has about 1-2" of new growth on all the upper, larger nodes, and the leaf matter has nearly tripled!
but the small nodes look great, and havent been affected by this odd growth spurt.

the plant has been out door its whole flowering cycle, and has been fine up until now
    wtf?

    pics:
before- while the growth was still constant and no defic. had surfaced.

after- the new growth on top of the larger colas
    IMAG0512.jpgIMAG0521.jpg

    smaller nugs- look great!

whole plant- dimensions are about 3' x 3' at the furthest extensions
IMAG0441.jpgbefore the fox tailing- taken somewhere around a month ago
IMAG0511.jpgafter- taken less than a week ago

anyone have any clue as to what this new growth could be,
or any idea on when i should harvest?

    much appreciated,
    tokes

If you can pick off the individual buds beneath the reveg tops, you can get a little smoke off of it now. They will shrivel up and disappear anyway, you might as well enjoy them!

But how could it reveg? I haven't moved it since it first started flowering over a month ago.

And so all of the calyxs and bud matter is just going to die off? What about the rest of the plant?

Can anyone back up what Cindy said before I go pillage my plant of unripened nug? :/

The calyx' will turn brown and the bud will continue to get looser and looser until it is no longer a bud. I'm not sure why it revegged. I just harvested one of my plants this morning that shouldn't have been flowering yet, but had fully formed buds, and I have 2 revegs that are still growing, while others are just showing preflowers, so I don't have a clue. I just wanted to prevent you from losing those buds. I waited too long with one of mine and lost a lot of good smoke. I hope someone else will give their opinion, because I know it's a big decision to strip a plant.

some of the inner older calyx' have already begun to turn brown.,..
    fucking damnit :/

so i should just take some scissors and clip all the re-vegging buds off the stem?
alot of the inner nugs havent started this weird vegging, so should i just leave them until they're ripe?
do i leave the colas that i'm trimming in-tact, and just take the bud matter, in hopes it will re-flower?

sorry for the bombardment of q's haha.
this is my first grow and im still trying to figure everything out..:/

i remember my friend saying something about single shoots being really bad..haha
yeah..the whole plant is layered like atleast 3-4" down all the colas with single shoot leaves :/
exept for the small popcorn nugs inside..

does anyone agree with cindy in stripping all the bud matter now while i can?
it's loaded with nutes..so should i flush? or just chop and water cure..
