    Default Yellowing of bottom leaves

So this problem keeps happening. The past two times I removed the bottom leaves hoping the problem would not appear again. But it has.

The bottom leaves slowly turn a lighter green until a yellow. Why is this happening? I'm using distilled water now, ff grow big, it's in ff ocean forest, under t5's, not being overwatered. The conditions seem perfect so I don't know what could be going wrong. Perhaps not getting enough light? But doubtful. Must be some nutrient deficiency or toxicity?

    Advice?

Oh also is it big enough to let the fan blow directly on it to strengthen the stem?

sure .. but never direct and constenly .. try to do it indirect (hit a wall beside or so) and maybe make it swing if possible ..

if you just put a big fan in ther pointet and them girls 1 foot away on high all the time they will in the end get wind stress ..

EDIT: the fan I use (beside my ventilation aso) I cut off at night .. give em some peace (not my ventilation tho .. need to clean odour/provide fresh air)

Yellowing starting from the bottom and working up! Is a sure sign of a nitrogen def.
i have seen this alot on the forum with people using ffof and ff nutes! I dont reccomend
    either of them.

But to hash other stuff here are a few ?

    1) ph that you are feeding with?
    2) ph of the run off after you water?
    3) what is the ppm that you are feeding?
    4) i need to know everything your feeding?
    5) what is the method your feeding like are you going feed, feed, water?

    what's wrong with FF products?

I recently switched from tap water to using distilled water. The tap water had a PH of about 6.4
I don't have a ppm gauge so I can't tell you that, but I've been mixing about 1tspn/gallon but ive been feeding a tiny amount not flooding it. Just distilled water+ff big grow. I've only fed distilled water once, it's always gotten tap water. Maybe I'll flush it with distilled. I'm doing Water, Feed, Water, Feed...

your plant is taking nutes from the leaves it does not need because its nutrient needs are not being met.
i think this is a good quality in bud because it helps you read the plants.
leave the leaves on, when this happens just let it, and up the strengh of nutrients or adjust the feed schedual to feed, feed, water and keep the same nute strengh (for every shoot feed your plant as if it were a plant that size times the amount of shoots should give you a better idea on how much to feed).

your plant is now bigger than it was, it will need a more concentrated bit,
add magnesium sulfate (bud factor x) and calmag (with trace elements, any company, my choice botanicare).

These leaves sacrifice their selves for the greater good of the plant, and take the damage to protect the rest of the plant.

This will only happen to your fan leaves if you've noticed already.
