there are alot of funky answers here. i would check the ph first. normaly it is fine so dont do anything with that. you want the ph of the water to be around nutural also. you can add used coffee grounds to the top of your soil and mix it in to the top layer. dont use alot. a little goes a long ways. maybe just enough to cover the soil barely. but than when you water the N from the coffee gets taken down while the soil buffers the acidic ph. done it with success. except i put to much and my plants were dark green the rest of the grow.
i just did a flush with clearex last week. will do again and im going to start using cal/mag and liquid karma
more than 3/4 of the atmosphere is made up of nitrogen, your plant can intake nitrogen from the air by applying nitrogen fixing microbes. I was just reading a thread about pissing in your plants and how much of a waste it is to flush your urine down , guess they don't know about azos.

hey no prob, I really don't have all the details on using azos. it would appear its good for rooting and transplanting (no shock). I'm getting out of soil and I don't think there's a place for azos in hydro, If you'd like to try it yourself xtreme gardening makes a pretty affordable powdered version. I was reading some articles about adding azos to teas and letting them brew/multiple but I'm not sure how all this works.
