Can I have it? I'll pay for shipping. I agree that HTG gear is crap but they sell hundreds of those tents...
nvm, reread that and realized it was a quote lol. But if you decide to throw yours away like they did then I'll pay for the shipping![]()
Temps are 70-80F It's has gotten hotter but the plants did this in February when it was in the 60's F. I'm running 300 watt MH at 3 feet.
I found another post about this tent!

for anyone looking into grow tents DO NOT BUY AGROMAX GROW TENTS. I have over 10 years experience growing and recently decided to buy a grow tent. I purchased an agromax growtent, a/c unit, and all necessaties to take the grow into a tent. Now i have heard of the outgassing issues in the past, but thought it was taken care off. IT WASNT. NOT BY HTG SUPPLY. my temps, humidity and ventilation are all in check. i have 2 different grow houses, both growing same strain, both getting same water and nute supply, however at house #1 (agromax tent added) noticed weird yellowing mostly looking like a molybdenum (Mo) def. In my lifetime ive never had a Mo def. ive had what may have appeared to be one but never fully progresses to the point where it consumes my crop. at first sign i treated with a micro assembly that includes Mo. after 3 days problem was progressively worsening. after thinking about the unique situation, i came to the conclusion that the only thing that has changed was the tent and ac unit. 5 days ago i left tent fully open, 2 days ago i noticed progression had ceased. I WILL NOW BE THROWING AGROMAX TENT AWAY AND BEGIN TO PROMOTE AWARENESS ON HTG SUPPLIES PRODUCTS. ive never had a problem with them untill now. they began telling me i need to make a warranty claim (fucking really, how does that work). ive decided i want nothing to do with htg's chinese made tent or warranty." 03-10-2012 kejana

If worse comes to worse, I'll craigslist it. Fork over the extra money for the Jardin. I bet those hundreds of people are 90% new growers. How many Hydro huts were sold? How many years went by before the problem was solved? People had no idea till someone on IC mag reported it. Then Hydro Hut fixed the problem. People were having problems with a brand of black tubing until someone tested it and found out what the problem was. Agromax should be renamed to The Tent of Death. It's very hard to diagnose gassing off. No one has chimed in yet that actually owns the Agromax 8x4x6.5 tent. I'm not sure if the smaller tents have this problem. It's also possible that some people have not figured out it's the tent. After reading posts from other people and experiencing these weird problems, I'm 98% sure it's the tent. I don't have 10 years of growing exp like the last person I quoted but I do have common sense. When you stop hitting yourself in the head with a hammer, it stops hurting.

If you craigslist it ... disclose, please. I think letting Gastanker have it (since obviously he has an app that won't harm crop) is a pretty good idea. cn

I wont disclose but I will offer a refund if they have any problems. If I had a way to test for toxicity, then yes I would.
I found a tester for $89 bucks. http://www.homeaircheck.com/
I thought I had a magnesium lockout problem due to the high levels of Calcium in the water in my area. With the RO unit there was no improvement. This points to the tent once again.
This is very interesting!

Have completed 2 grows in an Agromax tent with no ill effects to speak of.

I called HTG about my order after this thread surfaced. I'll most likely return it but I hope I can be convinced otherwise.
I just don't understand all the hate for HTG. If they got a bad batch of tents, well, shit happens... But to say all they have is China crap isn't cool.
Which model? What month and year did you get it? Does it have the window? I have the older model without the window.
The Chinese crap was a quote from someone else.

This is a great review and most tents. Too bad the Agromax is not on there.
Everytime I do a search I find more and more bad information on this tent.

"High guys
I have recently suffered through the worst experience of my growing career.I have not been able to have a garden for several years due to a move to a small house.I have recently moved to a nice big place, and in anticipation to the move went on a shopping spree..all the best gear!(or so i thought) ordered a variety of new beans, and on their arrival promptly poped them in my closet under some t5.gave them a week or so and everything looked great so off to set up my spiffy new grow tents.the small tent is a 4-8 agromax. Finished setup programed the sentinel and headed off on a fishing trip.upon my return bizarre yellowing!?!?checked ph first and went down the list, decided it must be a mg deficiency and treated accordingly.several days later things look worse!!severe narcosis that is clearly wining!so I transplant from happy frog to sunshine mix.and a mild flora nova feeding...several days later and I'm losing my mind everything is almost dead now and I have no clue.so off to recearch my problem, and I come across them topic of out gassing and all of the symptoms seem to exactly match mine, right down to loss of sanity.but apparently this problem is several years old and primarily a PVC based problem, nevertheless I cant ignore the possibility and have run out of options.so out goes the tent and up goes the panda film everything elese stays the same.and within hours the ladies perk up....yaaay!!it has now been a few days and we are in full remision even the very worst that I thought were gone for sure have snapped backso if anyone out there has been suffering un resolvable issues and your growing in a grow tent.get them out now!!and they will recover within a couple days.I have recently looked at some other forums and it appears i am not alone out gassing is back!!hope this helped anyone here."

Gotta check those sources. Notice that was the one and only post that guy has ever made on that forum? And that he was randomly posting on a two year old thread? And the OP of the thread discovered that it wasn't out gassing that was giving him problems... not that he was using an agromax.
How much air are you running through your tent?
