Get some green cure for your pm
But please dont smoke any of that, make some hash or something, that's not safe for consumption. I would be very surprised if you were able to finish the flowering period without mildew anywhere on your plant.
It looks like your AC could be the culprit, it's blowing right on your girls which is probably condensing h2o on your leaves, causing mildew spore germination.

too many problems here to list.... and too late to solve.
I'm not here to fight with you people. Just here to talk about growing. that's it.

Jorge may be able to dip cuttings to prevent transfer from a minor infestation, but when its bad, theres no hope, no treatment and no cure. fortunately most common crops (except raspberries, blackberries, roses and a few other rosacea) lack the internal voids which allow a PM infestation to get inside. Cannabis does have these internal voids sadly, and the buds are very prone to this shit. Powdery mildew can destroy an entire rose plantation fast in rainy weather. thats wh so many rose farms are in dry ass areas where roses dont do as well without extensive help. Powdery Mildew and other moulds can destroy them so fast the desert is safer for your plants.
You're still talking about an external affliction as it needs an internal cavity surface on which to attach itself.

It is not something that lives and survives within the plant's cell structure.

Useing that AC unit aren't you? your mildew spores are growing in the filters of that thing, everytime it comes on you are blowing it all over the place, also are you near one the great lakes there in mi? so humid anyway!!! thats why you get the lake effect rain and snow i'ts like living in n oregon on the coast.

Powdery mildew gets inside the plant and thus becomes an INTERNAL infestation, using the plant's own hydraulic systems to keep itself hydrated and growing, while feeding on the plant's tissues, FROM THE INSIDE!

that powdery mildew is not a bacterial or viral infection is plain to all. powdery mildew can infest the root systems of perennial and rhizomatic plants thus mimicking a systemic disease infection.

the voids inside the central and lateral stems of a cannabis plant can become infested with powdery mildew and the result is an internal untreatable infestation. washing the buds before drying in a strong H2O2 solution can remove a large amount of the mildew, rendering the bud safe to smoke, but any cuttings taken from a mother plant with the INTERNAL infestation will most likely also have the INTERNAL POWDERY MILDEW INFESTATION as well. this means all the washing ventilation and topicaal treatments will do NOTHING because the plant is incubating it's own powdery mildew source inside. Thats why we destroy infested plants, rootstocks and sometimes whole fields of rosacea when PM gets out of control. As cannabis is generally grown in secret, i have no information about PM's handling in cannabis save that it causes visible fear among growers who have had the problem.

Jorge Cervantes washes harvested buds in H2O2 to clean PM off the dope before drying, and this should work well, as its very similar to the wash for grapes strawberries and other crops exposed to a PM infestation, and these products are still safe to consume. Considering the sheer volume of mould spores we are exposed to every day, a few PM spores wont kill you unless your on death's door already. Aspergillis (black mould) is a separate issue. that shit can survive and thrive inside walls, ventilation ducts and other areas, even when the supply of water/humidity is too low for most moulds to flourish, and when it's blooming it releases MASSIVE loads of spores. PM is not nearly as aggressive as aspergillis, and cant survive inside an animal's lungs. I cant think of a single person coming down with powdery mildew infection in all my years on farms, and we get exposed to fucking TONS of the stuff all the time. PM can survive in sunlight and mild UV exposure, but aspergilis can only survive in darkness. these two fungi are radically different, and certainly are not comparable in any way except in a biology lab.

in other crops when humidity causes powdery mildew it can simply be rinsed away, for example on grapes subjected to unseasonable rains. the wash that removes PM also removes the fermentation bacterium that makes grape juice into wine, so when PM strikes a vineyard, the wine either receives the fermentation bacteria from a chemist's bottle or from grapes uninfected by powdery mildew. these grapes are often grown in small greenhouses on the premises as a store against PM infection, and so the wine can still be labeled as a single Maisson or Chateau, and to ensure the proper flavour and fermentation characteristics of the label.

I have smoked bud with PM prob , I had asma for the first time in my life, I also got an secondary infection in my lungs from the fungus.. This shit can if inhaled make you sick ,, plain and simple, don't consume in any shape form and fashion fungus infested plants, Sure we are exposed to some ppm of fungus spores in every breath, but that doesnt mean I'm going to want to grab a handfull and inhale it????? we also breath carbon monoxide , you won't be seeing me sucking on an exaust pipe, because some zit picker said it was ok to do so .... Life is full of choices, and whether or not you decide to smoke that potetially hazardouse waste, is purely YOUR choice. Just don't ...............

    I think it's just semantics.

I'll agree that it can get inside the plant, but it's not systemic.

theres so many mould sources that could have caused your reaction, and PM is so ubiquitous i doubt the PM was the cause. Of all the fungal health warnings we've been issued, PM has never been warned against in agriculture. Even as common as it is, PM has never been reported, nor had any warnings issued about it's safety. Ive never heard of powdery mildew having adverse effects on human health. In truth there are millions of types of fungus out there, and only a few are dangerous to your health even in large doses. Powdery Mildew is not one of those few dangerous ones.

    http://www.thoracic.org/education/br...ng-disease.pdf

cryptococcus,, aspergillus histoplasmosis etc.. but no powdery mildew, despite exposure being almost universal in agriculture, and very high in pot users. many people these days like to be cassandra and prophesy disaster at every turn, but if nobody has ever been diagnosed with powdery mildew in the lungs, you can be fairly confident that your dope can be washed before drying and smoked safely. the only remarks about health propblems from PM come from nervous pot-heads, not scientists, doctors or health professionals.

Jorge Cervantes and the medical field are with me on this one. im not suggesting that PM is a health tonic, nor should you roll up a powdery mildew doobie, but if treated with a thorough washing with H2O2 (like Jorge has done many times) and a proper drying in low humidity, dope with a PM infestation washed away can be safely smoked by anyone who is not an end stage aids patient or suffering from terminal emphysema. You may be smoking PM in your bong right now, and never know it.

You must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. You will face your fear. You will permit it to pass over you and through you. And when it has gone past you will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only you will remain.

wow, overwhelming response. I have tracked the problem to the strain Amnesia and reluctantly I am removing it from my garden. Hopefully my friend can get another one and we'll try it again. I am already smoking the weed and so far, I'm stoned and coughin, but not dying (yet). Don't think mould is gonna be my killer, thanks for your concerns though bro.
