Hey everyone I've run a couple successful grows in the past, starting with a few plants, cloning females and putting 15-20 outside for the summer. I have certainly run into my share of problems but none that I haven't been able to remedy in a few days but I just don't know whats going on now.

I've got 3 plants under about a total of 142 watts of cfls, 100 watts of 6500k and 42 watts of 2700k. I'm using standard potting soil with added perlite, vermiculite, bone meal and blood meal. Thought initially it may have been overwatering, adjusted accordingly but no success. Shouldn't be nitrogen deficiency as theres plenty of bone and blood meal. I'm also positive its not heat stress. Any input is appreciated. The plants not as lanky as it looks I've just removed all the lower leaves that are now dead. The problem seems to be moving up the plant. Thanks in advance.

Did you ph your soil?

Note: Blood Meal, Dried Blood, Guanos, Kelp Meal, Cotton Seed Meal, Peat Moss, Sulfur and fish meal are all acidic and can bring your ph down, so if you add these please monitor your ph when using those.

Note: Bone Meal, Rock Phosphate, Wood Ashes pretty much all ashes, Shellfish Compost and Crab Meal are all alkaline and can make your ph go up, so if you add any of these please monitor your ph.

Thanks for the replys gents. It definitely could be a phosphorus deficiency but considering the bone & blood meal I gave it was 7-5-0, and it's only about a little over a month old, on six nodes, it seems to early for a p defic. Ph was my first guess thinking nitrogen may have been locked out but my tap water ph, soil ph, and runoff ph is all on par. Any other suggestions would be ketchup to my fries.

I would try to leach the plant soil to get some of the nutes out of it...its cooking your plant...its much better to use sterile soil and add the nutrients manually...imo

not to rehash old statements but one thing i definetly see is purple stems!

some times i thnk purple has to do with temp, and not just to the N def

my purple stems were from both the temp and a Phosphorus deficiency.
