And it seems like you have to many plants for the amount of light you have a 600 watt only covers a 4x4 area. anymore you are gonna have stretching. What light are they on right now 12/12, 24/0, 18/6?? more info please...

Did they start stretching when you switched there lighting? are they autos?!?!? morrreeee innnfffoooo thats why you have like 200 people who have viewed the thread but no one has answered. Because you have minimum info in a place where your gonna need the most info possible for people to actually help you.

Its not like we have grown 10000000 plants and right when we read your post we will have an answer. I am growing sativas and my node spacing is no more than 2 inches on them and my node spaces on my indicas are about 1 inch...

grow Indies if you want shorter, stockier plants. or grow your sativas, and train them. a good LST can do wonders for lanky plants.

Yeah I was gonna say same as scrog since ur growin indoors u can control ur plants so super crop/LST ur plants, or maybe u could do a Scrog grow. Give u an idea it hasn't started flowering yet, I really wanna switch em to 12/12 but waitin on another light for some younger plants 1st. This is my first try at super cropin/lst but u get the idea how u can control the height of a sativa, right there its about 14". I go thru and try and bend down the taller growth shoots to keep em even, but I keep screwin up and breakin em off, well like 3 times so far.

600 isn't bad at all for 6 plants, keep the light as close as possible, even a few inches is fine, just be careful not to burn them. Also, check your temps, overheating will definitely make them stretch.
The Sativas will stretch a lot more than indicas. They will for the most part eventually stop, but I've seen cases were they never stop.

If you want to have a sativa in limited space, just LST(best option for the current case), top, or do both next time.

Do not put your light this close!!! put light as high as possible and let the plant's fill up the space!! Let's see your grow!......this work's and you never move the light! Don't talk shit about yield or streeching 600 is more than enough lumen's get your lux meter and check space...your plant is reaching due to being in too hot of an enviroment!!!! you know not of which you speak! Heat Pheno or is plant male? i'd hope heat was the issue it's easier to fix but even if it's just the strain..grow it! some "inferior" plant's will rock your world! maybe not as much but much more pow! Wishing you the best my friend! it's not the light needing to be closer! at 5 1/2 feet for a twenty four inch plant it will have more light than plant can use!!! It's all ballance! your grow will be fine internode length can be too little light but not with 400 watt or larger! unless you have no reflector and lamp is just hanging down from cord! grow slow and steady don't rush the grow ...internet grow's are mostly bullshit! If you can't see the result's it's because it's in someone's dream's! watch what you take as the truth people want to help but have little or no first hand knowledge. watt's is weight I hear all the time ....so show me your weight and they show a pile of bud's.....show me on the plant's as you crop!!Then still same bud's dried and if your yield for each plant is over 5-6 oz's AVG then I'll listen to you! jack
