3 times a day for 15 min on an ebb and flow system. How close can I have the light?
It could be over watering try cutting one watering out and make it twice a day?
Or maybe it the smaller size pots I like going much bigger~
The light depends on the type and the wattage.

3 times a day is not no much at all hydroton drys out fast real fast.....depends on what kind of light hps/mh like 1/2feet away from plants t5 and clf and other low heat lighting can get real close i just wouldent let your plants hit the lightOriginally Posted by bdt1981

that should be fine .....the rule of thumb for HID lighting is if it feels good to your hand...not uncomfortable at all the plants will be fine

You can pull that 1000 up, 24-36 inches is fine, i think your over heating you plants, a 400w at 18 inchs fine, 1000 not so much

temp is apx 86 degrees. overheated makes sense because the shorter clones are not sagging at all. only the taller ones. but when i put my hand under the light it feels fine. it started drooping when i moved it into 12 and 12 they were under 2 400 watt mh in veg and never sagged. thanks for all the help guys, this site is pretty cool, some people just need to learn sopme manners though.
