try reducing the humidity in the room if you can. that will help prevent any further outbreaks. i keep my flower room humidity around 35% just to avoid those problems.

Lol. This has taken an interesting turn... Ill grab popcorn too, and a bowl.

Back to my prob though... How the hell do I get the humidity down lower than 45%? Obviously a dehumidifier, but those run HOT and in a closet I think it would be counter productive.

i think 45% is acceptable, my humidity is around 60% when the lights come on and down to 40% by lights off and i have only once ever had a mold problem (and this is in my garage). and even then i probably only had mold because my furnace was broken and it was november. keeping the furnace going out there is a must in winter.

increasing air circulation is a good way to prevent mold (not a good idea once you have mold though, as others have noted).

I agree, you are going to be okay as long as you are under the 50's, if you are paranoid just throw another fan in there.

Well considering its never been above 45% I am a bit paranoid now... Extra fan has already been put up. I'm learning as I go along that it's better to use more than not enough with everything eexcept nutes... My first grow was killed off from root rot because the water temp was too high and only one air stone... Now I monitor my dwc temps and have 3 air stones... Now I guess next grow I'll make sure to have a good amount of fans going all the time. I'm just happy I caught this before it ggot to them all (crossing fingers)... Only lost half of my top bud... The other half is drying right now.
