Default Nitrogen def or nutrient overburn, please take a look - LOTS OF PICS!

    Hey guys,

This started happening to my plants right after a replaced their reservoir with a cleaner one. 2 of the plants suffer from droopy leaves, yellowing leaves and purple stem (which wasn't purple prior to their "sickness").

In my res we have 11 gallons of RO water, PPM ~450, PH- 6.1. The following nutes were added: Sensi grow A+B (more of A for extra nitrogen), voodoo juice, b52, aquashield, miracle grow (again only for extra N).

The first plant in the picture has burns on the leaves. That's because I splashed H2O2 directly in the water and thus damaged the plant. But it was still doing great until I replaced the reservoir.
Second plant suffers from the same fate - droopy + yellowish leaves and purple stem.
Both of my baby NL's seem to start experiencing the same issues.

For additional information and pics please check my journal => First grow- Nirvana Northern Lights, 400W , DWC+dripper, 4x2 Grow tent, AN fertelizer
    Any help would be appreciated!

Okay i do DWC as well and H202 is fine to add it kills all the good bacteria of aqua shield. It is not bad just ads more oxygen to the water so H202 will not damage your plant. I also use sensi grow/bloom A+B. your ph should be about 5.5. i run my PM 5.5 to 6.1 and then drop it. As soon as i see my ph hit 6.1 i check res see if it needs a top up or clean out. If i top up i make sure to drop ph to 5.5 again i normally clean my res every week. i to about 2 top ups.
Now the questions that need to be answered in order to help you

Miracle grow where are u using this?
What kind of light at what distance?
    temp of your Res?

Also since u are using RO water i would add calmag+ or something like that, very common DEF in RO water

in hydro young plants need a lower ph to allow for uptake of needed nutes 5.4-5.6 for seedlings and veg. 6.0-6.2 is perfect for last 3 weeks of flower when they need the nutes that uptake at those levels.

Its Miracle Gro singles (24-8-16) - I use this stuff with my tomato plants, they love it. So since it high in N, I added one packet to the reservoir.
Also I never mix H2O2 with Aquashield, don't get me wrong, haha . Only added it when leaves started drooping, thought that its a lack of oxygen.

The light I'm using is 400W MH air cooled by a custom system I made. It's located 20" above the tallest plant.

Regarding the water temp it is currently at 68 degrees. The reservoir is constantly receiving cold air from the AC tunnel I build behind it. - Pic related.

I also keep pH at 5.6-5.8 rate but again if these plants need N the pH should be kept at around 6.0 .

the do not need N. U need Calmag+ u are using RO water and that is common def in RO water TRUST ME been there done that. If u are giving them N and it is not getting better then it is NOT N def.

EDIT: drop to 5.5 u get Cal and Mag, since ph is 6.0 u are not getting those nuts..... GET calmag + and u will be happy and she will be happy and use threw out the grow since u are using RO water

Yeah they have this stuff in my local hydroponic store from Botanicare. Question is, Sensi Grow A+B already contains calcium+ magnesium + iron, why add extra?

snesi grow has some but not at the level u need, because water normally has calmag but since u are using RO water IT HAS NOTHING. I use sensi grow as well and when i used RO water i noticed the same thing and i did on my grow i have now. i switched from RO water to just tap water i let sit out for 24 hours. PPM starts at 130 after 24 hours it drops to 90 ppm. so what is the PPM of your tap water and then measure after 24 hours. if u are under 150ppm u dont need RO water.

EDIT: dont use miracle grow. just use sensi grow and your additives. U will be golden
