Unhappy Grrrr. wtf is this crap?
needing a little help from you friendly tokers out there... so here's the quick of it: My plants are just under 1 month old from germination and like any true dumba$$ rookie I fed them too early in their development. Two feedings total within 10 days time. I recognized from the few small patches of browning at the edges of one plant that I overfed, as well as from the very dark green color of the lower leaves (I was told that's a sign the plant absorbed too much nitrogen). The symptoms match about a dozen problems so I opted to play it safe and flush half of my batch to see how it goes. I can clearly see now some yellowing on most of the leaves of both the plants that were flushed and not flushed that doesn't seem to match any pics of nute burn or overfeeding I've seen on this site. My best decription of it is that the green of the leaf is in the "skeletal strucutre" and yellowing is happening inbetween the veins of the leaf (pic #1). My second issue is that one of the plants that was flushed seems to have gotten worse (pic #2). Orginally it only showed two small patches of browning on the very edge (I flushed her good) and now, 3 days later there are larger patches of spots that are reduced in pigment, but not quite brown. It looks similar to nitrogen deficiency from other pics I've seen, but how the hell could it go from overfed to deficiency in a few days? I know I'm missing something here. Please help!

any other questions, please feel free to ask!! Thanx

that first pic looks to me like a magnesium def.

Get some epsom salts , one teaspoon to a gallon. Even if its not mg def. the salts wont hurt it ., so get to its son.

I'll give the salts a whirl tonight and hope for the best. Do I have to worry about salt buildup and flush within a few days or just let it sit in the container? Thanx for the info! Much appreciated.

I was just looking up some photos of deficiencies and my first pic looks a lot like some pics of iron deficiency as well as mag def. If I use the epsom salts to treat the mag def could that potentially make the problem worse if the problem is iron def?

it'll only make the iron def ( if thats what it is) worse if there is excess mg.

But its a gamble , i doubt it would be iron def. Try the epsoms salts. than if after 3days that hasn't halted the problem then flush , flush and more flushing and fix the iron prob.

But if you have both iron and mg def then at least the salts will fix one of them.

If its was me (ive had same prob before) and i added a spoon of lime ( calcium and mg ) to some water and they seem fine. i also flushed it befor ei put it in btw. just incase.

Let me know how you go dude.

cal mag also works awsome and you can use it with every watering. the 2 pic looks like nutrient burn. good luck just dont let the problem get any worse it moves quick.

got some epsoms and putting that in a few. I'll get back to you in a few days to see how it's going. One last question... the leaves that are damaged or yellowed, will they recover or gain back their proper pigmentation or am I better off pruning those off? Sorry for all the rookie questions.. I really appreciate the info. Thanx again.
