    Question 3 leaf??

ok i am not sure if this is a problem or just a slow growing plant. i have planted 5 ppp seeds and 3 of them sprouted it took 3 weeks but i think that is because i planted them a bit too low down in the ground so this is what i think is a problem the 2 down leaves apeard and usually there are 2 more actual leaves but the thing is after the down leaves the next ONE is a normal pot leaf and i am i bit concerned what this could mean (only 1 and not two). yes i am growing for the first time and my second grow i started was 4 northern lights that i planted 3days ago. thank you in advance and as soon as it gets a bit bigger like out of the seedling stage i will start my grow journal.

I have no idea what you are asking here...? Sometimes seedlings look and grow weird though...make sure you aren't over watering or feeding them
I apologize for my incessant rambling, but if you are patient there is inner hidden wisdom in most of my posts...Like playing literary "Where's Waldo."--------------- See, it's fun!

Sounds like a light proximity issue or possibly lack of proper lighting. What are you using? cfl? hps? mh? t5?

I think you are referencing cotyledon when you mention ''down leaves''. If you are saying that you have only 1 leaf appearing where the plant's first true set comes in, don't panic; I've seen all sorts of weird seedlings recover - just give it a proper environment for better chance of success.
