Default Yellowing of new growth and brown spots on leaves, pics

    Hi guys
I am new to the forum but have been browsing for the last couple weeks. Hopefully i can get some help here with my first grow.
    As follows..
8th week veg today, was only planning on 7 but then problems arose
    Indoor, cupboard, 5x4x2
    Running 18/6, 400hps at 12in from tops
Temp is 77f lights off to 86f lights on
Exhaust, intake and small fan blowing on it
    5gal pot
    Soil, potting mix/peat
    Nutes, cyco grow a+b
Watering every second day with rain water, then nutes on the next water.
    PH was at 6.5 yesterday

New growth seems a little underdeveloped and very lime/yellow in colour with the yellow going outward to the tip but veins are still green.IMG_2415.jpgIMG_2360.jpgIMG_2362.jpgIMG_2367.jpgIMG_2381.jpgIMG_2382.jpgIMG_2383.jpgIMG_2388.jpgIMG_2390.jpgIMG_2392.jpgIMG_2393.jpgIMG_2397.jpgIMG_2407.jpgIMG_2409.jpgIMG_2410.jpgIMG_2411.jpgIMG_2408.jpgIMG_2398.jpgIMG_2405.jpgThe brown spots are appearing on the mid level fan leaves mostly and there starting to turn yellow aswell. Tops of stems have a slight purple.
I have raised the light and gave it two waters with epsom salts this week after flushing it last week. I trimmed around the bottom at week 4 and week 6 as it was getting hard to water due to fan leaves touching the soil.
Not sure where to go from here as im running out of room. Should i just flip it to 12/12 and hope for the best ?

sounds like a phosphorus/nitrogen deficiency, mix some flowering nutes with your veg nutes. may need cal as well
im on riu mostly during the outdoor season, so PM to get in contact, posts could take longer for a response but ill check in when i can.

looks like CALIMAG is needed, also get the temp down to 80...it will make a world of difference. Otherwise they look healthy and in good shape..good job

could be a number of things... overwatered, because of the droopy leafs, overferted because of the leaf tips are burned, nute lockout , i bet its nute lockout. im thinking your ph is turning acidic which is locking out magnesium and calcium. the peat mix and most nutrient mixes tend to go acidic after a while. try top dressing with some fine dolomite lime and water with distilled water allow PLENTY of runoff!.(always use distilled or ro water) it should bring your ph back up to the 6.5 to 7 range which is desired in soil.Let plant semi dry then water with half strength complete bloom nute solution and bloom spike(quarter strength!) plus an enzyme product, vitamin boost like b 52,root growth innoculant, and some bud candy or molasses then flower! adding lime to soil before planting ensures that your soil wont go acidic so fast and will never go above 7 hope this helps

If you water your plants every 2 day for a plant in a 5 gal pot. I believe your over watering. Over watering can cause this type of problem Other concern would be sludge building up on the bottom of the pot not a good thing..

WAIT !!!! Before u add Cal/ mg what water have u been using with the nutes ? If rainwater then yes probably. Rainwater is very pure (Ec/ppm) so you could have washed away the nutes. Little Mg/Ca in that but hang on....

The nutes could be in there. They look def but could be lockout. Did you water with a run off? How much have you been feeding them? Were the pots light before watering?

How many weeks have they been in those pots?

Hey guys, thanks for the replies and helpful info.
I gave the Dolimite a try with no change. So i laid off the waterings till the pot felt lighter and resumed with a watering with calmag. Another water with the calmag and they were back to a lovely green colour, no more yellow or brown spots appearing
Waited for a few more days then flipped it to 12/12 with quarter strenth veg and bloom nutes. It has been in flower for two weeks and really has stretched over the last week with the first sign of buds forming but the last three days it has started at the tops to turn yellow from the tip back with green veins. There is some tiny spots like rust but you cant see them in the pictures on the yellowing leaves, plus there starting to droop , arrrgh so frustrating
Should be ready for a wateirng tomorrow, any suggestions on what to do from here ?. By the way its only one plant i have.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and help me out.

When I see nute problems, my first step is to check ph. If you have a sunleaves electronic ph meter I have noticed that I have to leave it in there a minute to get an accurate reading. If I stick it in and use the reading right away, it will be off. Another good method is to get some ph strips and test the runoff in the tray.

It also looks like you are overwatering them to me. Let them dry out. The roots need air just as much as the leaves. When the soil dries it sucks air into the dirt for the roots.
