Why are my WW plants so short and thick?

I know that's supposed to be a good thing, but this plant just will not grow taller! It is very healthy looking, but I had to leave it in veg for three months to get it to grow 8 inches tall. This is now my second week of flowering. I'm using an aeroponics system with a 240w led 7-1-1 light, and G. H. Nutrients. It is crazy thick as you can see and the nodes are only about 1/4" apart. Also the leaves are darker green than normal. I know short is a good thing but damn! I have already taken five clones and pruned twice when the pics were taken so you can imaging how thick it was before. Just wandering if anyone has ever seen anything like this. ww1.jpg
