Why so long to show sex?
So my plants are like a little over 5 weeks old itll be 6 weeks this friday..and they still havent shown sex so im scared to put them in flower due to seeds and shit. i was wondering if LST'ing them slowed down the process of showing sex? or does it sometimes take this long. lights been on 18/6 for 2 weeks no. thinking about going 16/8..wud tht help show sex?

ya, i thought tht it showed sex when it was rdy didnt know it depended on light cycle..i just dont wanna pollinante my females so i wanted to make sure before flower. thanks man
18/6 is fine.
Once there are alternating nodes, you're close.
Just pretend you're married. You'll see sex eventually. LOL

ya i was gunna go 12/12 on may 1st anyways so its an easy date to remember i forgot all the dates for everything..if it wasnt for my girl i wudnt know when i even started them...im gunna run outta space if there all female..actually hopeing for at least 1 male to make room
they should show before then especially if they are at 6 weeks already. the plant will show sex once its fully matured even with a veg light cycle.

well i havent checked them since sunday morning soo im gunna check tonight and hopfully i have some kinda sign. i only check my plants every 2 days

unless they are an autoflowering strain, they will not show sex till a couple weeks under 12/12 light cycle(This is the very best cycle for flowering(sexing))
P.S. This is not always exactly the case, but 90% of the time it is

12/12 will push the plant into flowering.. 18/6 will let the plant show it's sex naturally, it's gonna be alot bigger though
