Can I spray my buds for powdery mildew?

I'm currently 5 weeks into flowering and I've been fighting a powdery mildew problem off an on for the past few weeks.

I started with neem oil, but now it's too far long into flowering to use neem, in my opinion. So now I've got that Green Cure potassium bicarbonate powder to use.

I haven't tried it before, but before I go spraying willy nilly, I wanted to get some feedback on whether or not spraying my buds with potassium bicarbonate will kill the pistils and stunt the bud growth.

My last small grow I had a major mildew problem, and I was able to finally beat it by spraying every other day with a milk solution. However, it seemed to make all of my pistils turn brown within a couple days, and then the buds just completey stalled out, and never really did re-gain any of their density.

That was just a little test grow, but this one is my main source of meds for the next few months, so I want to make sure it makes it to harvest healthy, and without a diminished yield.

So can I go ahead and spray down my plants with potassium bicarbonate at the recommended dosage, and not worry about it stunting my plant's flowering progress?

I have read that potassium bicarbonate can be unhealthy for the plants, and may cause some issues. However, I have also read the exact opposite. I hope the thread will help you though before anymore damage is done to your girls. Sorry to hear about that last grow.

I would not spray the buds with anything,get a sulpher burner.....................tyke

been through all this, if you have at least 3 weeks before harvest, get some eagle 20 and you will NEVER see p.m again.
don't use if your pulling in less than 3 weeks.
everything else is just temporary solutions. Eagle 20 cures the plant systemically.
if you have to use something in the last 3 weeks, get pm wash. it's perfect for using on actual buds.

this guy knows what hes talkin about. get some fast. eagle 20 that is.
then the next run u do. spray them last week of veg or second week of flower. and yes never see pm again.

Just do a little research on "eagle 20" before you spray it.

I've done the research, Guess what? The shit works.
I give a small amount to customers who have pm problems, EVERYONE of them has reported back with the results I expected.
They don't have a pm problem anymore.

I grow organic so the eagle 20 is out. Sorry, should have mentioned this first.

And instead of curing the reason they have it, usually inadequate ventilation. Your curing the symptoms and in turn giving them a toxic cure that causes cancer??? Do you also tell them it take 60 days in lab tests with grapes??? I could care less to argue with you, all I wanted to do www make the op aware of what he's using on a plant he intends to consume.
