Tiny white spiders?

Was having some knat issues in my veg room & i have cloth grow pots so i sprayed the pots with a azamax mix yesterday and now there's tiny white bugs on my grow pots. I used a 60X mag to get a closer look and the bugs have large white/almost translucent body with thin black legs, anyone know what these are? remind me alot of spiders but not like mites i've seen before.

id hazard a guess .. whiteflys (because you said you had knats) or aphids since they are coming out of your grow pots .. but i would lean to aphids by your description .. a pic would help narrow it down a bit ..

I don't have a cam that'll show anything but what you can see with the naked eye and all i can see is tiny white balls. At first i thought maybe it was a bunch of roots poking out. When i zoomed in with my trich magnifier they dont have wings, just a round, glossy, semi-translucent body. Can aphids be white?

They look like that? if so no worrys. I found these guys living in the soil of the mother I have going... I flipped out at first, but later found out they are good for the plants. Best of luck, hope you find out what it is.

I would google pictures of aphids, whiteflys, ect. and maybe find something that fits your description. Whatever they are, doesn't sound good. Maybe try some no-pest strips, they have worked for me in the past. Sounds like this is isolated to your veg room, so I would also invest in some Neem oil. Neem is a good preventative and keeps almost all critters away and gives your leaves a nice shine. It's what I use, and all it took was getting mites on my very first grow...now I don't have problems anymore. Hope this helps.

Dude we keep running into each other...haha. Must be a good thing. Anyway, if he has these, doesn't that also mean he potentially also has some other sort of pest? Since they feed on them?

Yes that does mean that he has potentially other pest... however if he got the clone from a shop or something, it's very possible those little guys where put there on purpose as a preventative method. You can find the little mites online for sale, and they are popular with commercial growers.

For sure...reading between the lines, love it. Guess you should check your plants for other pests Neroc. Nevertheless, I would also strongly recommend the use of Neem oil. Could really help you out, especially in the future. Dunno bout you Silvers and whether you're using it or not, I didn't catch it in your journal. If not then I would also pass this recommendation off to you as well.

isn't azamax a consentrated form of neem? Honestly I didn't have problem untill i switched to the grow pots. Though, I did have a 2 inch spider chillin in my veg room untill I accidently crushed him around the same time as i switched to grow pots. Maybe he was keepin things incheck, idunno.

No, azamax is an eradication method. It's a Botanical Insecticide, Miticide, and Nematicide. It's a toxin, designed to kill every living thing in it's path lol. Neem is preventative, and is simply oil from a Neem plant. Completely natural. It works because it keeps them away in the first place--they don't like the way it smells. It also coats your leaves, and mites hate the taste of that shit. Furthermore, neem gets soaked into the leaves and spreads throughout the rest of the plant, and when mites ingest it, it fucks with their hormones and prevents them from laying eggs/eggs from hatching. Pretty effective and also good for your plants. Azamax isn't really "good" for your plants.

I'd use Azamax and no-pest strips to fix a problem, neem to prevent. Hope this helps.

Sorry, I for some reason was thinking of FloraMite. Yes, you're right. Azamax is a concentrated form of neem, along with some other additives. I prefer neem but that's only because i've used it and it works for me. FloraMite is the shit that kills everything in it's path haha.

I'll look into the neem oil when I get paid. The mother has shown signs of the little white(predatory mites) bugs for some time now. All the leaves look great, the plant looks greats(except for some severe heat exposure, yea, i'm a dick). I want some type of pesticide and neem oil sounds like the best option. I also need to pick up some h202. lol.

took another look at them and they're mites, thinkin that they look most like the the predatory mites but gonna nuke em with, azamax, zero tolerance and some white fly traps for any knats left. Thanks alot for the responses so far!
