Horrible yellow lines on plant

Hello,

I am a first time grower. Pics attached show lines that have started appearing on plant towards the bottom. Does anyone know what they are?

- it had a light starved start to its existence
- I water it with normal tap (Gran Canaria) every few days
- It is about 6/7 weeks old.
- I gave it nutrients for the first time about 10 days ago.
- I did have it out in direct sun but I haven't for a week and marks are getting worse.
- I can't find anywhere that sells anything to measure ph.

Thanks for any advice offered.

Thanks for your reply.

I agree it does look like liquid flow marks. However she has had no water on her at all, and my grow area is 100% secure.

I keep her outside. It's Gran Canaria so it gets hot but not humid. Plenty of air too. Could it be the water doing that?

Looks like some kind of pest causing it. Maybe even slug slim. I have never seen this before.

i dont even have to open the pic to tell you that it leaf miners, you need to cut out the affected areas, and collect them because the bugs are inside and so are their eggs.

answer: scissors

Hi.. That problem is called a Leaf Miner.. The go from leaf to leaf and if many they will eventually kill a plant and make it under perform.. I will be in the Canaries in Feb..

Have a good day!

They suck the leaves until a skeleton is left. Pull them off by hand or use chemicals if needed.
