hey everyone....I've noticed the last week or two the leaves on my JTR are turning purple. Here's some pics and my plant info. plants are 24 days in to flowering.

Soil/perilite mix
PH: 6-6.5
Temp: 70-75
Humidity: 35%-50%
Light: 600 watt HPS ~16" from the plants
Nutes: Advanced Nutrients Grow, micro, bloom & hobbyist bundle. Along with a little molasses, super thrive and silica blast.
Water: Tap with PPM around 180

Thanks a lot for your help guys!

Purple is phosphorus deficiency or your plants genetics. If the leaves start shrivling up or getting crunchy or any other sign of a deficency give it some more nutes.

What strength? Looking like you need more bloom in the mix. Also, how are you using that superthrive? Are you using it every watering?

Ok cool...thanks man i'll keep an eye out.

The last feedings i've used 75% strength. Finally got a PPM and figures that strength with the rest is coming out to 1200ppm which i think was a litttttle to high the last couple feedings. The superthrive i've been using only during fertilizing days.

I also forgot to mention I use Hygrozyme every other plain watering day. Thanks for the input guys

whats your temps at night??? one things for sure this is phosphorus deficient.
Cold, wet soil can keep plant roots from absorbing phosphorus properly.
Highly acidic soil can also affect phosphorus uptake. since your growing in soil you should try and get your ph to ~6.8 area... 6 is too low and is contributing to your troubles. by the way plant grow the fastest with ppm's between 900-1500 so your doing fine. plants grow the slowest, with small leaves when ppm's are at the lowest(300) and highest(2500).:leaf:

Temps at night don't fall very much at all....rarely getting below 65 degrees. How long would it take for a Phosphorus deficiency to manifest itself? because early early wednesday morning I left until today and had to leave the AC inside the Temp with it on very cold. Could it have occured if the night temps had dropped significantly? I did notice small amounts of purple before I left for the couple days but it became much more prevalent after I returned home earlier today.

As far as PH i've been fairly unfortunate as far as receiving 2 broken Ph meters and still waiting to receive my new replacement. I've been relying on the PH drops which are easily off by a couple points I'd say. That's why I say from 6-6.5.

i would folair feed with the bloom nutes, it has more of what you need(P & K), and the leaf will absorb it a lot easier because of the high K. K regulates water, respiration, and makes fruit large and dense.
