whats going on with this plant?

so im starting on the 2nd week of flowering, got a 400watt hps light. the problem is is that the back plant looks thin, week, spindly, its all in the topes, the whole plant isnt like this. there is no pests, spots on the leaves, mold. i wouldnt think its overwatered as they both recieve the same amout. i dont think they are getting to much heat from my light because only one is like that, and my lights about 14 inches above.could it be a mineral deff?? im lost please help me. i want this puppy lookin healthy as the front one..:leaf: toke on stoners, toke on

It looks like the plant in my room which is outgrowing all the others and getting too close to the light, so too much heat may be the answer. But also I still need to invest in some proper nutrients for the flowering stage yet. I'm also on 2 weeks flowering :)

It looks like Cannabis russet mites to me... get a 40X microscope and look inside the new growth. If it is russet mites, you will see them. However, they will only be on the newest growth. They are not talked about much and normally are misdiagnosed as a nute or PH problem.

ahhh thanks madmike ill look into that, i got a 50-100x scope comin in the mail. .....oh god, i just looked them up and from what ive read....theyr destuctive bastards...i hope your wrong mike.

I hope I am wrong. With out a scope a sign you can look for is a bumpy braille like texture on the new leaves. Let me know how you make out.

Idk mate, almost looks like nice new growth at the crown no?
I have a lot of that what looks much like that crown but mine is just filling out and growing like mad.
I don't know your plant like you do but it looks to me like it's trying to bust a move after concentrating on some root development or otherwise just plain old slow growth period. sorry if I'm wrong good for you if I'm right!! nice plant in front though

ok i looked with a little magnifieing glass and i couldnt see anything.and smaller growth doesnt seem to have the problem. all the fan leaves and such look fine. and if it was pests wouldnt it affect both? ..and i hope your right doser. they are in trash cans cut to about 20 inches. maybe crude but hey, i work with what i got lol. i noticed this problem about the first week into flowering. i did change bulbs, mh to hps. .i guess illl find out in a couple weeks. i hope it pulls through it. i want some budd. its the first grow using this 400 watt light. and it kicks ass. 36 inches and growing at week 2 of flowering. im thinkin a QP if they both produce. does ne one have a thought on harvest weight? :leaf:toke on stoners-toke on
