BTi Mosquito Dunks?? Is this harmful?

So I know that BTi is an Organic pest control and does a good job killing fungus gnat larvae. I see that 'mosquito dunks' contain BTi.. But is it still safe/organic in 'Dunk' form?

Also, will this help killing any mites in the soil?


- I've tried the Potato method and a few others but nothing works for gnats like the Dunks.. You just have to keep adding them every month or two.. Thats what I use on my Salvia Divinorum, but I dont ingest my Salvia, It's just ornamental.
