can lack of nitrogen or phos. cause nute lockout??

ive posted a major problem i have been having not much help so far (my fault not explaining well) but can anyone tell me if lack of nitrogen or lack of (phosphorous during flowering)cause a plant to lock out minerals such as ma,mg,iron,cal Im asking because i over fed one plant 5 weeks ago(at end of veg with veg food) as an experiement (burnt all edges of all fan leaves)and all other plants in grow 2nd week in 12/12 got severe nute lockout ma or mg not sure(looked like measles on all fan leaves)after a few weeks they were in such bad shape i had to kill all them off except the one i experiemented with and over fed she done very very well loaded with bud same ph levels on all even the one that did very well thanks for feedback

Dude you need to give a little more info than that if ya want a decent answer. What was your soil medium and what ph have you been feeding at and what was ph of runoff? Do you have a ppm meter? Pics always help also.

Lack of? No. Either it'd have to be excessive amounts, or the PH being off, as the main causes of nute-lock.
