This is my 2nd grow with this setup and everything has been going well so far. I'm using 10 CFL. I have two fans circulating air. My water regiment is I water about every other day. My pots are very small and the soil drys quickly. I wait until the several of the plants begin slightly wilting and the soil is throughly dry. So I do not suspect over water as the problem. I have experienced it before and am very cautious about watering. As for my problem. One of my plants and they are all clones form the same healthy mother. Has wilted and curled all of its leaves together. As for nutrients none of these plants have received any nuts in at least three weeks and that was the only time they have been given any on this grow. Thank-you to everyone here for there help and knowledge.

P.S The brown leaves in the photos are leaves that slowly went yellow during the cuttings rooting phase and have died. I simply haven't removed them and they died long before this sudden onset of curling.

None of my other plants are effected. The first picture shows my grow area minus the sick plant. Its early morning and I just watered so a couple are wilted, but they will stand back up with in 30 minutes and look great. The problem is only with the plant featured in the second two pics.

i am grasping at straws here but maybe you were overly careful? meaning they need more nutes and water, maybe?

Looks like too much humidity, not enough lighting, not enough nitrogen , forget the tin foil , use white paint ( semi gloss) get better lights, fls are great but get into the 120 watt range and those girls will perk up, don't wait until they are wilted to water, do you starve yourself before eating? Pick up each pot and gage the moisture by weight, much better indicator. How cold is it getting between light cycles?

Humidity is low as this is a closet grow with great air exchange with the rest of the house. I thought n-def caused a yellowing of the lower leafs which slowly or quickly raises among the other leaves. The temperature stays about that of the rest of the house at 70 degrees. The heat from the lights is minimal as it is quickly lost through the air exchange. Are you suggesting one 120 watt CFL or a combination that equals 120 watts as I am using 10 100 watt equivalent light which each claim to use 23 watts, although i haven't metered it. 230??? I may not wait until I am starving to eat but I do wait until my body shows signs Thanks for the reply

it needs water give it to it.

when you say they yellowed during the cutting stage do you mean cuttings from that plant or when it was cloned itself. Honestly I have found that 2 120 watts give great light, also try to find peters 20-20-20 as this has given me many a thousand great healthy plants at a reasonable cost. Also what is your soil?

I placed the plant in a low pressure CO2 rich chamber all yesterday and through the night the plant has uncurled and is looking quiet healthy again. I'm not sure what caused the curling though, but for the most part it has gone. Thanks for everyones help much appreciated!

Fans remove moisture from the leaves. From what I see, the leaves are dehydrating. Fan's are NOT essential and I've lost plants from a fan blowing on them (got bad advice here about that). I'm assuming that you're growing in soil? What kind? Unless it's a premium blend like Fox Farms you'll need to augment it with some nutes. Best of luck.

them plants look ill, they need a drink. were have you had them in a desert.
where are the buds?. either give them some lite air food or somthing.
how old are your plants. how far on into 12/12.
