Default Help me Sad Yellow plant drooping leaves
I went away for vacation for five days and had my girlfriend water them while i was gone. I didnt want to overwater them and they seemed to be doing fine when i left so i only had her water them once. They are now drooping and have some yellowing action with dark spots. It could just be nutrient deficient or underwatering at this point. Any help or ideas?

I don't know what the problem is, but get them into seperate pots quick. Also, get a moisture meter to aid in the water cycle.

hansolo33 is right - get them separated (or at least further apart). I haven't tried growing in soil but a moisture meter sounds like it would help. You'll also need a way to check pH (and PPM when you start adding nutes).

pH problems often cause nutrient problems. a too high or too low pH can make a plant look nute burned or like it is suffering from nutrient deficiency (because of lock-out). at this stage of the plants life, if the problem is nute deficiency (and not nute burn or some other problem) the most likely culprit is Nitrogen. If you haven't added any nutes (and your soil doesn't have any nutes added) then you may want to start adding some nutes which are heavy in Nitrogen.

Be warned: Nitrogen deficiency and Nitrogen toxicity look pretty much the same!

Thank you for the reply. I was up till 5 am last night trying to fix things up. I am planning on doing the transplants but the lil guys are actually in clear plastic cups under the soil. I added extra soil ontop to support their stems because they were falling over (Probably because i didnt plant them deep enough to begin with). I did one transplant last night into a normal sized pot. As i pulled some of the cups up they seemed to be dry and no water was getting to the roots. I did not want to have 5 huge pots taking up the space just yet so i left four of them there and watered them and made sure the water went into the cups. I also have been slightly using a vegetative formula called Pure Blend. It has nitrogen in it. I have been using 1/4 ounce and mixing that with 1 3/4 cup of water and sharing that between all plants. I have a 250W HPS waiting to be used but i dont want to scare them and use it too early. Do you think its time to step up? They are 5 inches tall.
Thanks in advance!
