Yellowing and browning leaves and curling tips and oddly colored stems

Hello everyone!

Over the past 9 days I have been having some issues with my plant. It looked like this then...healthy.jpg

Now it has yellowing leaf tips on the side branches. The fan leaves have become very yellow with brown spots that have been crisping up and dying. I water every few days as the soil dries out. Usually about 24 ounces of distilled water and only a little runs out the bottom. Im thinking this is partially caused by nutrient burn. I watered around the 8th with 1/4 strength fox farms big bloom and tiger bloom. Using the 1/4 strength nutrients I mixed 8 ounces of the nutrient mix with 16 ounces of distilled water and poured in as usual. When I noticed the problems I flushed the plant with over a gallon of distilled water and then flushed again a few days after once the soil had dried out. The plant was started in miracle grow seed starting mix and once it outgrew its original home was re-potted using miracle grow potting soil. Adding to my problems I have noticed that many of my top leaves have been mildly curling down and inwards. This has been happening for about a month now. And lastly the stems on the side branches and main stem near the top are discolored. All of these problems can be seen in the following pictures.

Temps:78 - 85
Lights: 4 - 6400K CFL
2 - 2700K CFL
Fan blowing across lights and circulating air most of the day
Any thoughts and feedback will be greatly appreciated.

It looks like it might be a nitrogen deficiency and ph imbalance which leads to nitrogen imbalances. The ph level is whats making your stems turn a purple color. But it also looks like you might have a bug problem. Some of the leaves look eaten. I would say get some ladybugs to take care of the bugs eating your plant. I think foxfarm the ocean mix is rather well for an all around grow. I used this for my seeds and to transplant. Haven't had a problem just have to keep your ph level right in the water for the plants. Hope this helps

The leaves aren't eaten. Once they were completely brown, crispy, and dead I pulled off the bad areas in hopes of allowing the plant to grow and not have to try to save those areas. Not sure if this was good or bad but it hasn't seemed to have any negative effects other than the look of the leaves.

Looks like it needs a dose of Cal/Mag. Molasses will fix this is you are on a budget. If not pick up some Botinacare Cal/Mag and do a soil application with 1/4 dose.
