ive been growing for a very long time, and i buy all my soil ,ferts, seeds etc..about april,i have to buy 4 big 120l bags of soil at this time because its not only MJ i grow, toms ,peppers and chilies go in my greenhouse and MJ indoors, the thing is this year most of my plants died about 3weeks after germination? which really pissed me off but i bought more seeds(both mj and the rest of my edible crops) cleaned everything and started again, had about 120l of b&q compost(peat based) left and i bought 2 70l bags from a local shop, the same thing happened when i put seedlings into the B&Q compost after 3wks they all died, but when i used the soil that i bought from the local store it went brilliantly, big healthy plants and gave a good yield too,the few skanky ones that managed to survive the B&Q were shocking, they have done something to it whether ferting the shit out of their compost or sourcing it from somewhere near chernobyl,my simple message is dont buyB&Q's compost its cost me a small fortune, but the time ive spent is real bad,ive been growing MJ about 20yrs and i know what im doing and to question my own ability as a grower near killed me,and to think it was shit soil from B&Q,the moral of the story is dont buy their shit ,it will set you back a long long time, has anyone else had this prob with this years b&q soil?...........ML
