wind burn or too close to the light???

it was a dark emerald green 3 days ago. the leaves where the wind was hitting it directly are drying up. I have a 435 cfm fan hitting my plant directly, is that too much? and I have a 100 wat mh and 50 watt hps bulbs in a light hood thats about 8 inches and the temp in the room is between 89-93. I am running 3 co2 tanks. should i increase the humidity?

The right amount of breeze causes the plant to wiggle around a bit. It's hard to explain but easy to tell when the leaves are whipping around too much. You might want to get a cheap hygrometer to test the humidity. The airflow shouldn't cause the leaves to dry up like you're describing unless it's very dry & warm. Underwatering makes a plant much more susceptible to drying out and is usually behind problems like this.

i would recommend lowering the temperature in that room just a bit your low should be your high and your low should be around 83 with co2 augmentation if your humidity is under 50% yes raise it up i have a humidifier in my closet running full blast to get 40%

maybe consider getting some silica blast or something with silicon in it to help reduce transpiration

mother was right about the leave shaking just a wiggle if your fan oscillates even better (your trying to reproduce a breeze)
