Default Plant Problem, Help Identify(pics)
OK, these plants are 4 weeks old, I posted awhile back when I first had problems, I am using MG-Moisture Control Soil, with time-released ferts cause a couple of people suggested it. I have been using distilled, ph'd water. My first problem I believe was a PH problem as my run off was like 5.5-5.9, since than I've raised the PH to about 6.5-6.9, since than I haven't really noticed much more of a problem. Until now, my plants have been growing great, a few are even 14-15in tall with over 10 nodes, however, over the past few days i've noticed some interveinal yellowing, mostly on the bottom, middle of the plants older leaf's, irregular rust spots, mainly on the bottom, the bottom leaf's that are the worst have turned yellow, dry and or died, but im not sure, those could be fucked from earlier with my ph problems, plus the time released ferts may have burned them earlier so not sure. Also some of the leaf's tips are curled, and they are folding upwards a tad, not too bad, just something else I noticed on the higher up growth. I have proper ventilation, (500cfm exhaust fan), temp never gets above 80, usually hovers around 74-78...

I have been doing some research, and I am leaning towards either magnesium deficiency, potassium deficiency, and the long shots, sulfur, zinc, or manganese deficiency... After reading so many different things I just can't freakin narrow it down...

Thanks for any insight, good luck growing out there!

Magnesium deficiency by the looks of it... I've got the same problem currently with 2 of my plants.

currently treating with Epsom Salt (past 24hrs) via foliar feeding but no results so far, if anything, its got a tiny bit worse so I hope it doesnt take to long to start working.

best of luck

i just recovered from mg deficiency, it dried alot of leaves starting in the middle of the plant and then went everywhere quick.

i used 1 tablespoon of epson salt/ gallonwater and they look ok now(except ones still a little rough).

if it is mg def the dried leaves dont get better but the new ones will grow in fine once cleared up. i lost almost a third of the leaves on my favorite plant but she survived and looks pretty healthy now aside from no sun leaves for the first foot or so.

i dont know if your problem is mg def but i used the epsom salt in all my plants, not just the sick, and it didnt hurt the healthy ones at all.

good luck stinkin

The way Jorge described it made sense to me. If you think you have a nutrient problem, Flush your plant first. You do this with a 1/4 strength nute solution, now hear me out. If there is a problem, including overwatering, which it is not at this stage of your plants life, this will cure it and you don't even have to know what the problem was, about 90% of the time. I like the odds. Don't have to have a doctorate, IF IN DOUBT, FLUSH IT OUT........FIRST!!
Uhhh.. i would try flushing. VV

I have always heard twice the amount. 3x won't hurt, it will just take a little longer. VV

you know i have been having the same problems, I flushed both of my plants yesterday, the ph is somewhere between 6.5 and 7. I cant tell 100% what it is because my soil ph test isnt that accurate, Also i have been giving all the necessary nutes for flowering, Im not sure what is going on with my plants, I have tried everything i can think of, i also went and got this organic pest/fungicide to kill all the white flys i have flying around. Well now the flys are gone, my ph is correct, I have the same little orangish reddish dots on my leaves, some of them at the bottom of the plant turn a yellowish green and shrivel up. anybody have any ideas?
