I am two weeks into flowering and purple / black spots are forming on the buds?? I have never seen this before and Ive checked for mites but there is no sign of any bugs. I am assuming its some form of fungus. Please help? is there anything I can do? 20-30% of the plant is infected. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

I was about to say they look a bit purple, which could be the case if the night time temperatures dropped significantly. But I'm still learning, so could someone confirm this?

If it Mary gets cold, she tends to turn purple. That plant looks healthy, though I've never seen actual spots of purple like that.

Methinks she's fine.

dude that kind of purple is weird looking... looks neon purple. I don't think thats from temperature drop or frost, way to neon purple, the purple from frost or cold temps is like darker and much more defiant on the leaves rather the buds, ur leaves are fine which to me doesn't indicate temp drop/frost damage.

Any verdict on this? I have what I think is a healthy plant about 2 weeks into budding (tangerine dream) potted outdoors that has not been over-watered and it's showing some black areas forming at some of the nodes (~10%). Should I worry? The one pic the coloring looks purpleish, not sure if the optics of camera are interpreting the color of nodes better than my eye because it looks black. We haven't had any nights below upper 50's yet. Your help is greatly appreciated!
