damnit ive got thrips attacking one of my plants...i just sprayed it with water what else should i do?

Don't spray your plants while the lights are on...

Neem oil is meant to be good.

I have thrips too, i thought I got rid of them after a couple of strict cleans. I tried to wipe them all off the underside of the leaves.

Thought I'd succeeded, now I have an infestation. fdd2blk would be the best man to ask, although I think he suffers a lot with his own insect problems.

Right now, I have 3 weeks left till the end of flower... They're savaging my leaves, even the ones higher up now towards the light. I'll make it to harvest (i think), but they're really hard to get rid of.

hey there get some neem oil mix 2.5 ml/liter and spra under and tops of leaves ,and get mm 2000 to add to your water to get the pupas in the soil.

oops sm-90 also works for adding to your water also for ridding of the pupas both sm-90 and mm 2000 can be found at the hydo store

I have the bastard thrips too in my soil grow. They are nasty little shits, leaving behind thier poop and sucking out my plants. I use a 1 litre spray bottle, cover the bottom with dish soap, fill with 3/4 water and top off the last 1/4 with vinegar, shake gently. Spray all over your plants make sure under the leaves and rinse off the next day. Gone.

Vinegar is an amazing product... good for throat infections, also cleaning windows.

Thanks chiceh... These thrips are damaging. I have such a tight space to work in though, and my plants are all tied up. So if i let them down, they'll fall over.

I just got to live with them for now. The end of harvest and i'm going on a major disinfect mission in my grow spaces. Clean everything up, then start all over again.

You can do it without untieing them, just spray them with the mix, then the next day spray off entire plant with clean water in the spray bottle. Good luck.

Yeah, if I was someone else, I'd be screaming at them by now to get up there and get the job done.

Trouble is, it's me... and even now I'm contemplating my next hit... then I forget... there's always something more important to do...

Do they only attack leaves? If my theory on trich' development is correct, then the dying fan leaves should force the plant into extra trich' production.

They will infest your plant and kill it.
