i've got 4 week old ladies and the bottom 2 leafs are starting to yellow and die. they've got like almost a rash. i'm very worried. what should i do?

Hey guys,

I'm having some trouble with my plants, some of the leaves are turning yellow, and dying. Also, the leaves look wilted.

Background: Plants are in Miracle Gro soil (I know), and last week before finding this site I added a sprinkle of Miracle Gro Shake N' Feed plant food.

My thoughts: Probably nute burn, over watering, or a combo of both?

Solution: Flush the soil by running 4-5 gallons of water through the pots?

Please, anyone with some helpful insight would be greatly appreciated

Also if anyone knows what this white stuff is, I would like to know too. (already searched, no ideas)

Yellowing leaves is also due to heat and light stress so make sure you make necessary adjustments. Test the nutrient content of your soil to insure that you do not have too much fertilizer...if so, FLUSH your soil with fresh ph balanced water (use 2 gallons for every gallon of soil.

Also keep in mind few yellowing leaves near the bottom of the plants when they receive little light.

rasta, the bottom two leaves of the plant often do yellow out and die, no big deal. now if this spreads around the plant it is a deficiency of some kind add whatever nutes you have for veg

Looks like a N deficiency to me...The whole plant looks very pale..

lounge id give those plants a good dose of veggie nutes high in nitrogin, that plant needs food.
