what's the best way to raise spider mites?

i use regular lemon dishsoap, 2 tbls. to a gallon of water, use as a weekly maintenace, spray the under sides of the leaves, top of leaves, and dirt, and most importantly, is to keep a steady 70 degree, 50% humidity level, any hotter or drier then that they thrive on, dont use any kinds of bombs or gimicks, they only kill off natural preditors, hope this helps

get a jar of lady bugs, i did that a few months ago and the little fuckers still turn up in my house

i haven't had mites since i stopped buying clones from the club. i clean and painted everything and have been mite free for over a year now.

pyrethium bombs help as well. killed some rose bushes in my yard that were covered with them also and released pirate bugs into my backyard to help control the mites. i think all these things factored in.

So what about mites outdoors?? I have 90 Med babies, and i would say maybe 10 or so have mites They're spreading by the day, i bought lady bugs and am going to apply tonight. They're almost 4 weeks into flower. I've tried Neem, Sevin, and organicide on the badly infected ones. They're all still alive..... Any Suggestions??

How long will the bugs live? Is this something I'd have to get another wave of bugs the next year? I think they might be my best hope for squash next year.

i sprinkled one bottle of them on my garden 4 years ago and they have been here ever since.

they spear them with their proboscis and suck out the life juices.

awesome how many did you start with? Aphids wreaked havoc on my squash and pumpkin blooms this year.

Will my Lady Bugs and the Pirate Bugs get into fights, and kill each other?? On the web site they sell a triple threat package for mites, im wondering if they will all get along? I think im going to order a bunch or them if i can get them already hatched and ready to go, cause i don't think they will be that affective if i only have a month and a half left of flower, and it takes up to four weeks for some of them to hatch and start grubbin away..i think i would be better of trying to wipe down the leaves with rubber gloves and a solution of some sort of super killing shit?? Although i would love to do it the natural way...
