I have an L.A. woman that is about one to two weeks from finishing. I realized midway through my grow that i under fed. You can see the yellowing in the pics .. my nighttime temps are ok but the humidity goes up! .. i've posted a thread about this before.
now....
like i said the bud leaves are yellowing and browning and dying off. today i found some yellow and when i ripped them out they looked a little greyish near the bud site when i pulled them. 0Could this be the beginning of bud mold??? i know there is no way to tell unless it actually starts to mold .. but this plant's trichs are about 50 percent cloudy .. the other clear to cloudy. I know it's not ready to clip. but tell me your opinion. hopefully my pics can give you a little insight on what i'm dealing with. BTW... the problem area that's worrying me is the most dense main cola. CLIP IT???
Maybe its a little Potassium Def. Is it appearing on the leaves or only the buds?
thanks for paying attention man.. yeah it's just on the leaves .. and i'm sure it probably is a K def. but like i said my nightime humidity is high. and the leaves are yellowing and dying.... leaving me to worry that those leaves dying back into the bud will lead to mold.
remember. I picked of some dying leaves from the bud and the innermost part of the leaf thats crammed in the budsite had a bit of grey ... but no nothing on the bud yet...
Keep a close eye on the bud in question. And if it does have mold then chop just the affected buds and leave the rest to finish. Also keeping a fan running during lights out helps during those humid nights.
If your two weeks, from harvest, maybe you could squeeze in one more feeding with a good dose of PK to prevent more of it happening.
The yellow is probably just due to lack of N, and a natural state of dying.

always good to see ya pop in with advice cowboy!!! i've been running the fan .. but at some point i have to cut it off due to noise issues ... but it seems its the most humid first thing in the morning. I've kept a 30x scope on it to see if i can see anything forming

I agree about the N ... i was thinking about giviing it another feeding but i flushed about a week ago. I didn't realize this strain matured at a slow rate. I figured I'd be halfway to cloudy and amber by now .. but it's not ready yet.. another feeding ... ya think??? ah you're right . but i wanna keep an eye on the mold issue first. i think. I'm a bit perplexed. rep to both of ya's though for some piece of mind so far.
ok ... well i haven't cut or fed yet .... my almost done L.A. Woman seems to be fine. However ... i've noticed a problem on some of my leaves, which goes along with my mold queston
My lower sets that are dying off on my other plants are yellowing. But. They also look like they have a dark greenish sort of spotting on the edge of the leaves .. i'm not sure if i've encountered this before ..
to me it looks like mold. My gf disagreed but. I looks like bread mold to me. Dark greenish that wasn't there the day before.
also these plants were just given a healthy dose of P for the first time.. meaning their first bloom food feeding
any suggestions?? or has anyone encountered this before??
if its bud mold, you can simple tell by just pulling on the leaves attached to the bud, if they jus slide off with no resistance, that bud has mold. hope that helped a bit.

yes that does help a bit.... i haven't had that happen yet. But if anyone cares to comment on my latest finding ....on the leaves . that'd be great. rep
