I've got a plant about 2 weeks old, it's been sprouting a lot of new leaves but the stem has not been growing very much. So, what I've got is a little stem with a bunch of leaves (some more developed than others) popping out of the top. It doesn't really look that normal, looking at other pictures I've seen. I'm growing under 4 42W CFLs running 24/7 in Miracle Gro, watering once every two days with spraying with a spray bottle a bit once a day.
Here's a pic, my digital camera is broken so I had to use my cell phone...pic quality isn't that great but you should get the idea from it. Just wondering if this looks sick to anyone?
What kind of strain is it do you know? actually it doesnt look that bad. Some strains just stay bushy. It also may have to do with the light you are using.....if you wanted you could probably move it a little higher to encourage a little stretching.........but looks ok to me
1 could b the mg i had the same problem wernt growing much and then i switched to 2 part grow formula and started to see nice growth maybe look into rizotonic or cannazyme, or simular products for stimulating root growth
2 too much water let the soil drain looks like your using a big pot make sure to leave water out 24 hours before use and water temp should b room temp.theres no way that little plant will use more than a cup every two days
3 could b too cold new roots need warmth
4 they also need fresh air
i am really thinking #2 for your case as you see the plant doubling in size bump up the watering quantities
try the finger method b4 you water next time scrath about an inch down see if its still moist if so wait another day also try to find out by picking up the pot when dry and then again when wet takes abit to get used too
Hey guys, here are some better pictures. It's just growing real slow (about 3 weeks old), and the color seems a little weird...the smaller one is Northern Lights and the larger one is Afghan Kush. Any obvious looking issues?
