Default plant seems to be growing too slow

been about 2 weeks since i germinated the seed. trying only 1 plant for my first grow, and it seems to be really small

    strain: White Widow
Medium: MiracleGrow Organic Choice Potting Mix
Lights: 6 27 watt cfl: 4 cool blue and 2 daylight
temps staying around 75-83 f and humidity between 20-30%
    ph is about 6.2-6.6

the plant only seems to be about 2 inches and i'm starting to get concerned :/

humidity should be around 50-60% , but i think its more likely to be a dud seed, sometimes they just don't grow right

How often are you wattering it...and your humidity seems to be slightly low...seedlings love the humidity....try cutting like a small soda bottle in half and covering the plant with the top half...spay the inside with ph'd water and leave the cap lose to air flow. How did you germ? did you damage the tap root in anyway? cause any stress? How long are you running your lights?

Bad soil? Or maybe you've been overwatering.

Plants will be stunted from overwatering/Bad soil..

By overwatering the roots wont grow. less moisture at this crucial time.

    There just lil babies.

    Good luck to you

I would try running your lights at 18/6. They need some down time. I noticed when mine were in veg state, they actually grew more at night at one point.

has eliminated overwatering caused root disease and stunted growth for me.

hydrogen peroxide spiked water with an airstone. After seeing how common overwatering issues are here i'm amazed someone hasn't taken the time to make a sticky for this. root friendly bacteria love oxygen and roots enemies HATE it.

i saw something about taking the plant out of the pot, putting paper towels on the roots to dry it out, then replanting it in a bigger pott with fresh soil. is this true?

I've personally never seen, heard, read, or any other venue that would support that kind of claim. Normally you can see the leave actually drooping some. In that case, the best option is to let it dry and get obsorbed and let it stay a lil on the dry side for a lil bit. Just be sure to not go too long. The other way you could do it is give them a bit more water and if there isn't any .better. look to them, then do the "let it dry out" method.

That lil girl looks like she's pretty happy. I'd suggest trying to raise the lights 6 to 8 inches higher, that or reduce the bulbs by a few til it's a bit older. Also, I too would suggest turning the lights off for 6-8 hrs. They seem to kind of .stretch. in the dark/at night. Also, that kinda is closer to how their habitat works out to be.
