Hey whats goin on guys..

I am a total noob for growing besides what i have read and viewed on videos. This is my first trial run to growing and im doing it as best as i can.

I recently bought a light that i thought would have been good for growing. 14888 - Technical Specifications - GE Home Lighting Products

I placed the light in my grow station, Since then the brand new leaves are growing curly and upwards. The rest of the leaves are alright so far.
its only the new leaves that are turning. My light is about 11inches from the top of the plant.

I really dont know what is causing it.

I have only one computer fan blowing towards the plant and light fixture.

I dont believe im over watering the plant, i have very specific levels of water i put in everyday.

any help would be great, and if needed ill add pics so you can see my station and what might be wrong.

curling leaves is wilting...your over watering. Go and buy a water meter gauge at wal-mart believe there 5 or ten bucks.

I hate to say this but I think the bulb isn't for growing. Read carefully...it says it enhances the plants beauty, it accents the plant it isn't going to do anything. Throw a CFL or two in there til you figure out what you want. Also no need to water everyday...take it easy with the water.

your going to need more wattage than that also..if I have heard right recommended 1000watts for every 2 square meters

Yeah the packaging of the bulb is decieving...lol.

haha yea, the only reason i thought of picking this light up is because it said it emitted the right rays for the plant. which I believe is the red and blues?

guess i should have said this earlier, I have it in about a 5 sq ft box I built, with 2 comp fans for air flow.
