    Default powdery mold...close to harvest

I have begun noticing a white powdery substance on the leaves of my flowering ladies. From reading on these forums, it sounds like powdery mold/mildew. Crop #1 is only about 2-3 weeks from harvest and Crop #2 is 4-5 weeks out. Should I start to cut my losses by flushing and go ahead with harvest? Or can I wait? Or should I try to treat it and wait? Or? Any suggestions would help.

I am growing in soil with pretty good ventilation and humidity/temps.

Picture 1 is the white powdery substance on the leafs

picture 2 is of my mother plant in flower, leafs starting to fall off this alot think its almost time to harvest.

picture 3 is more of the moldey problem

Dude, I was just about to post on this subject...Mine are going into week 4 with a total of 5 weeks to go and I noticed this on 3 of them....not as bad as your pictures but a couple of the lower leaves are getting white powder patches on them....

I heard that if you start seeing these signs, that it's already in the plants system and has been there for 3-5 days....I also heard you almost can't get it out of the system but baking soda and water sprayed on the leaves stops it from progressing but if it's the system, how would you stop that? I'm about to spray them and will let you know how it turns out

i hav had the same prob not quite as close as you and i did some reseach on it theres lots of things you can do
but what i have heard is to let them dry out not completely of course the other thing is it is too humid in you set up
i heard 50 50 water and vinegar should do the trick i also heard feeding plants water with about 8.0 ph also could help in that late of a stage but let them dry first another thing i heard here was clean them off trying not to sped it around so another word take them out and clean it and sanitize the place after before you put back but then again do as much reseach as you can don t just take my work sorry about the novel

Hi, That's POWDERY MILDEW! IT comes from too much humidity and not enough ventilation and air circulation.
Treat it with 'Serenade' an all organic treatment you can use up till harvest on all edibles. I just kicked Mildews ass in my closet,(again). It happens every winter. Cooler temps make the moisture in the gro condense on the leaves and it speeds Mildews growth. No BIG DEAL! Let them finish. The mildew is generally on the leaves more than anything else unless you let it get way out of control. Look into your Air circ & venting and temps & humidity levels, Shoot for 30% humidity and higher temps and more circulation. I simply un hooked the cooling vent from my light and it warmed things up nicely, I also turned up the vent a bit and made sure I wasn't watering at the end of the light cycle so things were dryer in general when they went to dark mode.
Try to shield the buds a bit if you can, but it doesn't hurt the flavor even if you get some on the buds. I brush it on sometimes. Go BUY IT NOW!!!!

As a side note, when I was first starting out I was reading Jorge Cervantes book and looking for a remedy for the PM and he recommended Baking soda in water. He said to make a concentrated solution of it but I didn't see any recipe on the page he where he was talking about it so I thought he meant to mix a really concentrated solution so I added about a cup and a half of Baking soda to a spray bottle (WAY TOO MUCH) and promptly burned the shit out of the plants and buds...the real recipe for Baking soda is 1Tablespoon in a quart. IT makes it more Alkali on the leaf surface. The Serenade is a living organism that competes beneficially with the mildew and smells a bit like sour milk (which dissipates in a day or two). Non fat milk mixed 2 to 1 with water (2 h2o-1 nonfat milk) has a similar action as the Serenade too. Don't use any with fat in it or you will get rancid sour milk smell forever.
Best I've found is the Serenade, I ONLY use that now, it kicks ass!
