Default Snot forming on root hydropon.

i hav white 'snot' growing/covering my longest roots. hydroponic 4~ 4 days from potted soil clones. does anyone hav a name for this and possibly a cure?

Possibly a water mold?... which is actually a protist and not a fungus. Are you using any hydroguard or anything?

Hi MT, How the Hell did you get a pic of MY SCUM ?? The obvious Q ..... what r ya gonna do with it? If it's that N B Scum there ain't much avialable for cures yet. Pls share your experience. I don't no what 2 do yet. Many Thx 4 the reply.

First it never a good idea to go from soil to hydro pick 1 and stick to it. Second make sure your monitoring your res temps keep water under 70 degrees F. I also advise adding something like grotek H2o2 to keep mold fungus, bacteria and algae out while adding needed o2 to the res.

Well....that problem occured to me about a month ago...and i just blasted the roots off with a h2o2 spray, and cleaned the crap out of my bucket...It came back once right after, so i did that again, and its been gone ever since...:grnthumb:
