Ummm, not sure where your getting this info..... I'm toward the end of flower, have 2 and 1/2 gallon pots, and have run about 4 gallons of water through the pot for the last 2 weeks about every 4 to 5 days. If you've got drainage holes it really shouldn't be a problem at all!... It's just like watering untill you see run off, except all that extra water and run off would be taking out any sald build up that would be causing nutrient lockout...

That's IF it is nutrient lockout... Which is kinda what it looks like, I'm not sure about that tho... It may not be cuz I read you haven't been nuting to aviod nute burn. Just a thought, that's all.
:blsmoke:

Good Luck!

Flushing at the end of flowering is fine.. but in the first two weeks? causes too many problems that can be hard to recover from.

although nutrient lookout is a possibility, check soil ph
:joint:Yeah, I think it might be nutrient difficiency. I add nutes to my water every third watering and I only add at 1/2 suggested amount. You should have started w/ some good soil and should have been adding nutes since about week 2 or 3 of veg. and continue all the way through until the last week of flower. I am using Roots Organic soil. I swithed from Fox Farms and really like it. It has no added nutes so I have all control over what my plants get.
Good luck!

Yes I was using Fox Farms Ocean Forrest --- this soil is way to hot IMO. I just transplanted them (1st transplant) into Black Forrest.

Sorry man, wasn't trying to push any buttons! Just saying it has worked fine for me! That's all... That I've flushed 2 weeks into flower. And I did it just to MAKE SURE there were no salt build ups. Nothing was wrong with the plant. Just sorta as a precautionary measure.

I get my info from reading hours apon hours online about growing, on many many many different sites. And from expierence! And from more expierenced growers that are really good friends of mine. You can call me a nube, or inexpierenced, or whatever you want. It really doesn't matter to me. My product speaks for itself. :)

Sorry again if I came off as an arogant prick or something, that was by no means my intention! Just making a statement of what I've done and what has worked.

So I guess to each his own! My rule has always been to take everything you read in, and use what works for you. Don't listen to EVERYTHING you read...

Peace, Love and WEED :weed:

So im really not sure what to do hear. i understand that my soil is not best but i hear some guys say nute deffiesincy and some guys say nute burn and some say lock out. What should i go with?

Well i guess i will be flushing my plants and try not to water as much and see if this will help. I will hold off on fertilizer for a week or so then start again at 1/2 strength..
Does this sound right?

I haven't read the whole thing but from the first post it seems like you are killing them very quickly using blooming fertilizers that are WAY too hot and contain WAY too much P.

Adding too much P translates also in lockout of other elements so that explains the other issues.

I think your main problem is the fertilizers you use.

definitely next grow ditch that freekin miracle grow potting soil that stuff is deadly due to the fact that every time you water regardless of whether you nute or not your feeding the plant and then when you nute the plant your doubling the dose and also fucking up your blooming nutes and during flowering it is feeding your plants VEGG nutes while your trying to get flowers causing them to be all fukt up and wispy bongsmilie

im pretty high so i hope you can get some sense out of this post :)

He is totally right about the over fertilizing. I had the same problem with my White Widow so I backed off fertilizing for a while and let the soil dry out. It is called weed for a reason. These plants can go through a beating and come out fine. Good Luck!

Your plants are blooming WAAYYY to close to your lights in that picture. Plants need light, but when they grow that close to the source they will dry out too fast and they will literally "burn up", which is what you see with your leaves browning and yellowing. If you can't get your lights any higher, bloom the plants when they are much shorter, probably only a foot and a half at most in a room with four foot celling. This will prevent the plant from getting so close to your light and burning out, and the plants will still harvest plenty as they will become bushier and denser as opposed to tall and wispy. Side Note: Use only organic soil! Miracle Grow has all sorts of crap you don't need, and not enough of what you do need. I suggest 2 parts foxfarm soil mixed with one part light warriors seed starter mixed with 2 cups of perolite for proper drainage. If you follow this you will only need to water every 2nd to 3rd day and your plants will be fat and happy.

This is true about the MG soil and the time release nutes, they do suck! That's what I accidentally used for my first grow. It still turned out nicely tho!

But using VEG nutes in flower isn't always bad. I often use VEG nutes during flower. My nutes NPK values are as follows, VEG=24-8-16, Bloom=15-30-15 I will usually make a mix of half strength VEG nute with half strength FLOWER nute if I see some leaves loosing a little bit of their greenness. It is more important to maintain a healthy looking plant, with green leaves, than it is to feed straight flower nutes (trying to fatten up the buds) and loose the greenness of the leaves. Because if the leaves are not green they are not doing what they are supposed to do, which is helping to fatten up them buds! No healthy leaves=No healthy buds

Stated by Uncle Ben in his (Gardening Tweeks and pointers) Thread: "Foliage production - Grow for the most amount of foliage you can going into the flowering response. Maintain those leaves in a green and healthy condition up until harvest, even if it means switching fertilizer to a high N value, like a 9-3-6...

If you can find the post that's called something like (What is the best NPK) And read Uncle Bens posts you will learn ALOT! Shit man, just go read all of Uncle Ben's threads. They really are a wealth of information!

Sorry OP, kinda got a little off topic. I'm not sure exactly what's wrong with your plant bro. But if I was in your shoes, I'd be doing a flush. Then when you water next give it like 1/2 strength nutes of just the power plant stuff, not the other stuff.

Just my $0.02 anyways. Take it or leave it. Always tho, ALWAYS do what YOU think is best for your plant. This is just want I PERSONALLY would do.

EDIT: And if you have been feeding nutes 3 times a week, there's your problem! Feed nutes only once every OTHER watering, at no more than once a week. Some people say to only feed nutes once every 2 weeks, and just to make you really FEEL the difference, that's only 2 times a month!... It looks like you may have to much P just looking at your nutes NPK values.

Hope all works out for you, I'll be keeping up!

Thanks alot everyone. I am going to find some different soil and try using some different nutes and not as much.

I really appreciate all the input and hopefully before long i will be able to post some good pictures.

do not remove the soil from the plant and pot it in another mix - it will kill almost all of the roots.
Just back the nutes off for a while and finish this round.

On your next run be wiser.

We have been watering almost everyday. I notice that some plants are drying out faster than other so basically watering when the top inch is dry.
The next grow you do try watering on when the pots are dry and light to lift. Then thoroughly water/feed them then allow them to dry again and so on. This will prevent nutrient lockout.

WEll i found a hydro store 60 miles away and i am headed there this weekend to get me some new soil and nutes. Anyone have any recomendations for a new grower???
